286 Tasting Notes
I normally love this tea, but it really didn’t work for me today. It was just too strong, even the second steep. I think I’ll use a little less leaf next time. I’m a bit disappointed, I was so looking forward to a few cups of this to soothe my achies a bit before having to go out tonight.
Preparation
I had some work to do this afternoon, so I needed a little kick to get me going. This is mellow, but has a bit of bite, and it’s perfect for today. I’m not overly excited about this tea, but it’s definitely tasty. Now, I’m waiting for the people I have to interview to call me back, watching The Office, and wishing I had the energy to get ready for a concert I have to go to tonight.
I wonder if this one will be any good re-steeped.
Preparation
Started my day today with some Prairie Berry. I picked this one because I am (STILL!) coughing and I thought it would be good with a drop of honey. I was right. I don’t normally add anything to my tea, but my voice is so sore. I wish I tasted more Saskatoon from this tea, because that might be my favorite berry ever… but I do love cranberry, and the blueberries are great, too. It’s a very tasty morning treat.
Preparation
Relaxing with some Cookie Dough before bed. I am so exhausted after a busy day of coughing and Disney movies. I did get some teas packaged up and ready to send, so when I go out tomorrow I can hit the post office. And I am very impatiently awaiting my Valentine’s Day delivery of more DavidsTea. Yum. YUM.
This is a terrible tasting note, but there isn’t much left to say about this tea. It tastes like I am eating raw cookie dough. Which is amazing. It is amazing.
Preparation
I’m on my second steep of Toasted Walnut this afternoon, and I’m enjoying it more than usual. I mean, I always love it, but today it’s like… I never want to stop drinking it, ever, and I’m wondering why I didn’t order like, 500g of it. But… maybe my taste buds are finally starting to work again, and it’s just nice to drink something that tastes like it’s supposed to.
Anyway, roasty nutty goodness with delicious sweetness from the pineapple and coconut. It’s just perfect.
Preparation
Second steep is still delightful. This is a great tea, I’m really enjoying it while I cough on my couch and watch Mulan. Haha! It reminds me of cinnamon hearts, which are my favorite candy ever. Win.
Also, I introduced a friend to loose leaf tea last night, and she texted me already this morning saying that she’s craving tea for breakfast. Success!
Preparation
I’m really enjoying this, the spices are perfect and I enjoy the sweet cinnamon flavor that seems to be strongest. I usually prefer the second steep for most teas… except black. We’ll see how this one holds up. But this first taste is delicious, I’m glad my dad shared a bit with me.
