So I bought this for the qi. And it does give a nice little high! not overly strong, so it could be great for work. Puts me right in the mood to get stuff done :)
This sat at work, forgotten about for far too long so I’ve got tons left.
I need to remember to keep my steep times short though, as I’m not a big fan of the thicker liquor in this one.
My secons infusion today is nicer than the first. Cocoa and mushroom, a bit earthy. Very nice. Definitely soupy. Reminds me slightly of chaga, in a nice way. I’m not a fan of chaga as it has a bite to it that doesn’t sit well, but this is just… nice. and soothing. Like a balm for cold days coming.
There’s an astringent aspect there that I didn’t expect, and a bit of mineral goodness too.
Thing is though, I need to be in the mood for drinking a pu, but when I’m craving it, well it SO hits the spot. Glad I indulged today, even though I’m at the boyfriend’s and all he has is tap water. Maybe I’ll keep it here, since it stands up to iffy water. Ok probably not. Maybe one day…

You know that expression “Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater”? I imagine drinking that water would be terrible enough to warrant this rating!
I’d never make my enemy drink this, but perhaps I’d throw it at them. Good thing I don’t have any enemies!

This is “tea”?? I tried finishing the cup… but my body rejected it. There may be others who enjoy this tea, but it’s beyond me!

I tried liking it, and I can almost get there! I certainly don’t hate it, but something is holding me back. Allergies? Men in white suits? who knows… certainly not me!

Lovely tea! Not my all time fave but close. I likely wouldn’t repurchase, but may decide to based on many factors: price, accessibility, whether it fills a “tea gap”, medicinal applications, and how often I crave it.
Every once in awhile I find the sweet spot that bumps these up to 90+. Those are the days I need to buy a lotto ticket!
