31Jan: I waffled on adding this to my order for a while. I love cherries, but I hate coffee. Unless it’s the only hot thing to drink somewhere and then I add so much stuff that it isn’t coffee anymore. It was getting high praise on Steepster and I’d thought I’d try it.
Dry- smell reminds me of chocolate covered cherries (Good)
Adding water – smell coffee, cherry coffee – this might not be good.
1st steep smooth, cherry finish, not a lot of coffee flavor.
2nd steep 5 min 8oz – more cherry and coffee in this steep. Still very smooth no harsh coffee flavor.
I really like the cherry flavor and the smoothness. I just wish I could divorce the coffee. I don’t think I’ll get this again because of the coffee.

Bio

I started my tea journey with Stash/Celestial Seasonings tea bags years ago. All loose leaf, unless I’m sick or traveling.

I like black, oolong, white, herbals, and raw/ripe pu’erh. I don’t drink green tea often.

I play video games, read, and do pottery. My current favorite tea mug is one I threw and glazed.

I generally review teas twice – initial and final steeps.

My cupboard is mostly up to date.

71-84 are teas that are good. I may or may not get them again. Source for daily drinkers/work teas.
60-70 are teas that I didn’t like. I’ll finish what I bought.
