I love this tea. It’s a green with mint and bergamot, which sounds like a bit of an odd combination, but it works incredibly well. It’s hard to detect the flavor notes of either of those two ingredients; they seem to meld into a combined aroma and taste all of its own that is distinct and different from its constituent parts. It’s refreshing yet complex, a fantastic tea for any season.

Rather indistinct, possibly too subtle for me to enjoy. Not much aroma or flavor of bergamot in the brewed cup. I don’t detect much unique character from the darjeeling either; whether that’s due to the bergamot that is there or an inexperienced palate I don’t know. In the end, it has kind of a generic tea flavor. That said, I note very little tannin, so it is a fairly pleasant, smooth cup, but nothing else really stands out to me.

drank Jasmine Green Tea by Rishi Tea

Pleasant floral jasmine notes in a well-balanced cup. Jasmine flavor and scent feels like a good amount to accent the green tea.

drank Peach Jasmine by Rishi Tea

Very mild and almost nondescript. There are some sweet tones that could be peachy, but almost no jasmine detectable. Easy to slip into drinking it mindlessly, since there are few flavors or aromas to bring you back to your drink.

Pretty average for a flavored green tea. It’s rather tart; there’s a lot of lemon/lemongrass flavor that really hits you with a blast of citrus right at the outset. Then followed by a fairly standard grassy green tea finish. Not a hint of apricot that I could discern. It’s fine, and drinkable, but probably not something I’d seek out again.

Aroma and flavor are pretty good, but there is so much sediment from the ginkgo that it makes for a cloudy cup that gets gritty toward the bottom. Not really worth it unless you really want ginkgo. I can pass.

Really quite a nice Earl Grey. Lots of bergamot flavor that comes through. Some other Earl Grey teas I’ve tried have been more subtle, but I tend to like it a bit assertive, which Republic is. That said, it’s still nicely drinkable; the flavors are well-blended and not harsh at all.

I think this one was just too peppery for me. There were other flavors at the beginning of the sip, but the aftertaste was just peppery bite. Each subsequent time I made it I had a harder time drinking it until I just had to pour it out. Perhaps good for some, but I won’t make it again.

Lovely aroma and a nice orange/spice flavor profile. However, this one feels very sensitive to steep time/temperature/quantity, or something. Sometimes it will be really good, but oftentimes it is bitter and astringent. Used to be a favorite but now maybe only an occasional purchase.
