Very gentle - normally, I pick Assams because they’re strong and wakey-uppy. This one isn’t, but it’s still nice. Has a little sweet thing happening in the background.

A very good open-your-eyes tea. A little hard to find in our corner of the Midwest.

My general opinion of any lapsang souchong is that it’s like drinking bacon rinds. After disliking my small sample, I passed it to a friend, who did the same to another friend, and I’m afraid it ended up fertilizing somebody’s houseplants.

Nice and light, also pretty good iced.

Bought a full pound to use as my basic wake-up tea last winter. Love it; nice with milk.

I was a little disappointed. I was hoping with something with a nice strong flavor that would ice down well in the summer. It’s rather dry and weak, but I paid so much for it I hate to pitch it. Hoping to find something it will combine with.

Nice on a really cold fall morning with milk or 1/2 and 1/2.
