Nice fresh spring oolong base, with a little bit of seaweed. Great berry flavor that is enhanced by a subtle, but noticeable floral undertone.

Oh no, that’s not good!

Aw, that’s too bad. One of my favorites.

A tea bag my co-worker gave me. It tastes like berry juice! I swear there are more blueberries in there that anything else.

Not your average mint tea! This one has a nice, sweet zip to it! I definitely taste licorice and ginger in it. A good blend to wake you up.

I’ve been wanting to try this one!

Heavy on the cinnamon! Sweet, slightly artificial tasting. I could discern some peach and rhubarb, but not as distinctively as I wanted. Some hibiscus, but not as much as I was worried about. An ok fruity blend, but nothing spectacular.

I really need to try more and more teas by this Teamaker. I’ve had quite a few awful earl greys lately, but this one was lovely! The ceylong base was full-bodied, fruity, and smooth. The bergamot wasn’t oily or bitter. A really lovely earl grey!

" A really lovely earl grey!" Agreed!
One note: Lord Bergamot is different in that it’s a blend of two Ceylon teas as well as an Assam tea. http://steepster.com/looseTman/posts/187306

I thought I detected some Assam as it cooled down!

The addition of Assam to Lord Bergamot is makes this tea different from the traditional Earl Grey teas that have a 100% Ceylon base.
Question: When is an Earl Grey, not an Earl Grey?
Answer: When it’s a Lord Bergamot!

This is my favorite bergamot tea

Fruity, dark, and juice-like. Pleasant, but it doesn’t stand out to me in any way.

I actually enjoyed it! I’ve had the worst luck with 52teas. I just haven’t liked any other blend by them. I don’t think I’ll have this one again, but it was a really fun, spicy sweet tea.

Not a remarkable Dark Oolong. I tend to prefer lighter oolongs anyway. Dark wood charcoal flavor with a gritty texture on the first steep. This mellows out into something more mineral-like in the second steep. I preferred that one.

Since I had Butiki’s With Open Eyes this afternoon, I decided to have this tea to compare since they both have strawberry and ginger. With Open Eyes is like a butterscotch covered strawberry, while this tea is like those strawberry hard candies that everyone’s grandmother seems to have in their candy dish. I liked both, but in different ways. I would have with Open Eyes when I’m looking for something more sophisticated and layered. I would. Have Fusion’s version if I was in the mood for something sugary-sweet. I really appreciate that both have an amazing fresh strawberry taste. Good stuff!

I run, I sing, I drink tea. That’s the best description I have of me.

I’ve always enjoyed tea, but have just started trying out a lot more loose teas and varied brands. I’m really excited about a site like steepster so I can read about what people think about different teas.

Oh and I really hate Lipton tea. There’s something just awful about it and I can’t understand why nearly every local diner only has Lipton.

Also I’m on the search for a full-bodied, fruity blackberry tea. So if you have any suggestions feel free to throw them my way! :-)
