My favorite is easily ripe puerh although it is hard to pin it down to a specific tea. But I am very fond of the 2008 Menghai Dayi Song of Chi Tse from Berylleb King tea on EBay or available from Yunnan Sourcing by another name. And also the 2010 Menghai Dayi Golden Needle White Lotus is hard to beat if you can find it.

My favourites are all the green and some light oolongs. Laoshan or Rizhao tea is one green I can’t be without. Just love it. It seems to have a slightly shorter shelf life than other greens; and Japanese sencha seems to last longer than Chinese greens for shelf life. They are all good though!
