With a name like that you would expect it to be super sweet. It isn’t. Most of @52teas have a great smell. This one does not have a very strong smell at all. What it lacks in smell it makes up in taste. It’s a very mellow tea, you can really taste the cream cheese.

Not the best Honeybush tea I have tasted but defiantly one to try.

Label says steep for 4-10 minutes but I would recommend 4 max.

This is promising, I bought some of this and was worried it would be a bit too sweet for me. I can’t wait to give it a go.

Cream cheese just might be the most unusual flavoring in tea I’ve seen yet.:)

Even more unusual than bacon? Huh.

We’re working on a peanut butter and jelly tea. How’s that for unusual?

Bacon sounds like lapsang =P

Ummm, this one did sound interesting…. maybe my next order? Why must you tempt me Frank. I think I’ll have to unsubscribe from the New Tea emails.

52 teas, GREAT IDEA! How about lox and cream cheese?

Ricky, bad idea… that means no more free tea. :-,(

Ricky, in addition to the Maple Bacon that started as a 52teas tea, we also now have Smoky Bacon, which has an all lapsang base. They are both now available exclusively at their new home http://www.manteas.com (and yes, I will be adding them and the other Man Teas to Steepster soon.

No. 2 of my tea of the week from @52teas. I love this tea. It’s sweet but not overpowering. The green tea is subtle and doesn’t overpower the delicate fruit flavours. A long steep is needed. Current and papaya seem to be a great combo.

It reminds me of the nice feeling you get when drinking hot black current with a sore throat.

Ahhh PG. You may not have the quality of some of the better loose teas but with a bit of milk you are the perfect accompaniment for dunking ginger biscuits.

This is my first tea of the week from @52teas. First of all it smells amazing both in the pouch and whilst brewing. It has a lot of banana taste but not so much chocolate coming though.

Still a very tasty ‘hot desert in a cup’ style of tea.
