Thank you to Max for the samples! They arrived beautifully packaged in individual servings.

This is really interesting. It’s earthy and grassy, and there’s a sweetness at the back of my throat that is reminiscent of licorice, but not the same flavour and not overpowering. In many ways this is very like tea and in other ways, not so much. I could draw comparisons to Japanese greens, pu erhs and herbals for the various elements.

Definitely worth a try and a tasty cup.
