Twinings

Tea time is the time for tea.

There was a character on the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation who liked to drink Earl Grey tea. I believe it was Captain Picard.

I had this for a British sort of small meal in the afternoon between lunch and supper.

It seems nearly certain that Chris DeBurgh’s saccharine 1986 hit “The Lady in Red” has little if anything to do with this tea, which also has a color in its title.

Somewhat off-topic, but when I was a very young boy, my friends and I wrote a very dirty song relating to G. I. Joe, the title of and lyrics to which were, “Naked Lady Jaye! Naked Lady Jaye!”

This is good summertime drinking for classy ladies and even for humble gentlemen like myself.

Pretty decent for a cup. Pretty average, making it pretty useful as the control when testing against other cups.

Only if I have a cinnamon danish to go with it.

I like this as an iced tea

An extremely nice blend of black tea and vanilla. Not as strong a kick as their english breakfast tea, which makes it a favourite. Pity only some grocery stores carry it!

The standard candle to which other teas can be measured. Reliable, always there to catch you if you fall.

Throw in a bit of Bailey’s, maybe something stronger if you want, you’re good to go.

This has got me through the days many times.

I’m a fan of this tea, I’m enjoying a cup before bed, made with loose leaves in my IngenuiTea teapot.

the absolute choice, can’t go wrong with it

1 tea bag for 500 ml of hot water, wait 3 minutes and remove the bag.

Easily if given a choice of a standard bag of tea i’d choose this.

This is an assertive tea that’s perfect for taking the chill off a wintry evening. I find that a good white cheddar makes a nice accompaniment.
