This is presently my go to tea for all things. Drinking while at work and all through the night. It’s rich, deep, dark, very smooth and quite unique.

Not so great, now that I’ve had good quality loose-leaf Darjeeling.

It’s been a while since I last drank a cup of this, but it holds a special place in my heart. I had tins of this stuff all over the house, and at work too. I really should make myself a cup. :)

Pretty good.

I was quite concerned that the packet didn’t say what type of white tea this was, suggesting it was a blend of broken leaf from random gardens, and the taste and appearance suggested this was exactly what it was. It didn’t do it for me – too strong, none of the delicate flavours that I love white tea for (melon, fruit, sweetness) just a dark liquid with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Good after dinner tea..with a very STRONG flavor. It’s like drinking an “altoid” tea.

just had my second mug of this today (in my British Tea Power mug naturally) but this time with a drop of milk. Lovely

I’m not usually one for fruit teas but this was rather refreshing. The flavouring was subtle and the smell of orange, lemon and bergamot is a great way to start the day!

Tried again with hotter water. It brings out more flavor and is more enjoyable.

Second steep. Used boiling water instead of cooled in an attempt to extract more flavor from the previously steeped leaves. It worked. I think I prefer using boiling water with this tea rather than slightly cooled water.

Trying again. Let the water cool back from a boil for 1 minute before steeping. The flavor definitely improves once the tea has cooled down a little bit, but still is not as complex as I would prefer.

A slightly smoky aroma and a very mild flavor. I let the water cool for 30 seconds off the boil before steeping and added a dash of milk. Not as full of a mouth feel as I prefer, but not bad. Leaving neutral for now.
