I haven’t been this excited about a plain green tea in a LONG time! I swear Shanti made this tea especially for me! LOL
It’s a medium strength green tea but it’s pretty ‘even steven’ in all aspects of grassy, buttery, sweet, juicy, mouth-watering, floral, and it’s VERY smooth. There is a pleasant aftertaste which really makes me smile!
I REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS TEA!!!!!
Naturally fruity – I LOVE this!
Also LOVE this song

Thanks No Doubt!
I only have enough for one more go with this tea…it’s really yummy folks!
I’m having a cup of this while trying to learn a few more Norwegian Phrases via YouTube as well as a friend of mine via email. I also have a few ‘lessons’ available via iPhone Ap. I should learn some “Tea-Specific” Phrases, eh!? :)
Anyhow…this aroma of this tea reminds me of grapes…maybe not the plump fruit but more like the skins or leaves, perhaps.
The taste is clean and woodsy with subtle sweet notes underneath. I agree with Cinoi in saying there is a slight wine-like after taste. Maybe a Semi-Dry Wine…to compare a taste, I suppose.
This is very different and I like it!
Customer Service is VERY important to me. Almost as much as the tea itself. Whereas this specific tea may not be my most favorite by this tea company I do still LOVE this company. They are so nice! They are organic, very active online and from what I hear in real life, and constantly have something in the works!
As for this chai – it’s ok. It smells spicy but not overly. I can certainly taste the spices. The spices are THE flavor. It has a bit of a funky aftertaste for me but it’s still ok. I can think of about 15 other Shanti Teas that I like better tho! :)
If you like Chai you may like this. some may think it’s too spicey and some may think it’s not spicey enough…I’m glad I got to try this tho but have many more on tap to choose from.
Again, this isn’t a negative review and I am not saying I don’t like the bit I had but I like many of their other offering better than this one…my own personal preference, I guess.
First I want to start off my saying…
I’m mailing the following packages today…
Anne, Fran, Ashley, and MandyB!!!
I know I have more mailings to send tomorrow or Friday and will try and post in my notes who’s I send when!!!!
Now…for this tea…
Strong black tea with gentle fresh tasting lemon! YUM!
Well, I would have added more info on this but they are currently running maintenance on their website…no worries…I will certainly be having this one again! This is lovely! The lemon in this tastes VERY genuine! If you are a lemon fan PLEASE try this!!! The Black tea is of medium strength but the highlight and yumminess definitely comes from the lemon!
Finishing the package of this that TeaEqualsBliss sent me and finishing up my review for it (it will publish on November 30 at on http://sororiteasisters.com )
This is a really delightful Oolong. It has light notes of smoke and earth, it is nutty, sweet, fruity and delicious! I really like it.
This is a deep, dark olive green color when you add the liquid to it. It smells like leafy green when dry and a different sort of a veggie aroma after adding the liquid…almost buttered…
This is much more smooth than I thought it would be and pretty darn good. It’s more of a strong green than most flavored matchas I have had and the acai is very much in the back ground. Regardless it’s bold and strong!
Right out of the envelop this smells nutty to me! Almond, perhaps!?
As if infuses it starts smelling more woodsy…like a damp twig.
This is a hearty brew! Quite masculine, woodsy, slightly peppery…a little like roasted/toasted nuttiness! It has a gentle-semi-sweet after taste.
This is interesting, different, and pretty good!
I’m revisiting this one today and it is yummy. There isn’t a list of ingredients yet as it’s still COMING SOON and yet to be released! :)
BUT…here is what I can say about it from my experiences…
I can see Green Rooibos, some sort of citrus peel or peels, rose, and MISC dried fruits. It smells like Citrus…like Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit all mixed into one. I can also smell something that smells like Apricot and Pineapple, almost…at least that is what it smells like to me.
The color once infused is bright and vibrant. The taste is juicy and candied-like. I can taste orange, maybe apricot, maybe apple, maybe papaya and/or mango or peaches, perhaps!? As well as a few other tastes…it leaves a slight lemon aftertaste and is very nice.
I really think this is great!
Use 1 tsp. leaf (20 arrows) per cup – the site suggests! Alright…here goes…
I’m towards the end of the suggested infusion time length and the leaves haven’t unfurled much which leads me to believe the claim of multiple infusions is a strong one! That I am looking forward to. If this is anything like Blue Unicorn by Shanti…I am VERY excited!
There isn’t much smell to it dry or once infused but the color is lovely! Cinnamon or Honey colored would probably best describe it!
Flavor-wise I would agree with the medium-strength oolong description and say it reminds me of a toasty-sweet taste with a very slight nutty hint to it.
I will be trying multiple infusions. I think this is good and love the fact that it is different in many ways. I like it very much but not as much as I LOVE their Blue Unicorn! Thousand Arrows is pretty darn good tho!
