Got a package from the Oolong Owl today. Decided I should have the oolong first. It smells a bit summery, like creamy peach, with some apple notes. The flavour is fruit and cream, and hints of nuts. Nice in my current weather.
Flavors: Apple, Apricot, Cream, Creamy, Fruity, Nuts, Peach
Holy Dessert Tea Batman! This stuff is delicious. I think I’ll definitely steep longer in the future. The hazelnut is subtle and not overpowering, the cocoa is just enough to let you know it’s there. A perfect tea to have with dessert or just after dinner.
Flavors: Cocoa, Hazelnut
Preparation
This is my second try for this tea and I’m enjoying it far more. It’s more mellow and leaning toward a chamomile flavor profile with the addition of a scant 1/2 tsp fireweed honey. The honey really helped mellow it out.
Preparation
The weather is still pretty hot but I had to try out the this tea when it came the other day in its purple pkg. I literally torn the packaging apart to get to it.
I cold brewed this because I wasn’t in the mood for hot tea while it was so humid in the house. I could have shut the windows and turned the air on but with 5 boys in the house, it is nice to have the fresh air coming in.
Sweet pumpkin clove happiness is what I am greeted with. Very reminiscent of pumpkin pie. The honeybush is pretty strong in this tea-I kind of which that was toned down just a bit. I really like it but it isn’t my favorite pumpkin tea. I actually think the Celestial Seasoning Black Pumpkin Tea is still favorite. The pumpkin flavor is so strong in that tea. Yum!
Besides the Pumpkin Chai from David’s Tea and the Celestial Seasoning one, can anybody recommend any other fall teas that are not chai blends that have pumpkin or apple flavors in them?
Happy Friday everyone!

Juicy fresh Peaches with a toasted oolong and creamy sweet honeybush. . . I’m in love! Well done Plum Deluxe. . .well done.
And sad. This is not a sipdown but an addition to the already overflowing tea stash that I am too embarrassed to say what the total number of teas is that I currently have in my cupboard. . . . but it is sooo good!
This hit the spot. I love Plum Deluxe’s black flavored teas. This one reminds me of orange ice cream but not like those orange dreamsicles (which are yummy as well). The orange flavor has a brighter fresher sweeter flavor compared to a dreamsicle. Not so tart. I’m renaming this tea Orange Love because that is what it is. Creamy Orange Love.
The cream is subtle but definitely there and the black tea base is outstanding. I love this one. Really enjoyed it. Drank this tea while watching Arrow. Anybody watch it? I’m hooked and I’m only on episode 4.For the rest of the rambling about Arrow and this orange treat. . .

The boyfriend, one of his twins, and I shared a pot of this last night. He has declared this blend to be the best blend ever and warned me to never run out. I can’t say that I think this is the best blend ever but it was really good. Rich hazelnut with a sweet finish. I didn’t pick up the orange flavors but that is fine with me. I was perfectly happy with this delicious hazelnut delight.
Happy Sunday Sipping all!
