Lipton

Not a favourite for me, even though I’ve tried to like it. All I can ever taste is the cinnamon and watery milk.

I owe Lipton a huge debt. It got me drinking tea at the age of three when my mom would make it for me in my carebear or beauty and the beast mugs. It’s all my parents drink to this day, and there is always a huge quantity at hand. It’s the reason we have an insta-hot faucet installed in my kitchen, and as much as my tastes have matured, I still enjoy it with milk and sugar. So I salute you, Lipton Black Tea, my gateway drug of teas. Thank you for the world you opened up to me so many years ago.

Mixed this up as iced tea and served it with Bacardi Razz and a few slices of lemon… Amazing. Highly reccommended cold and with ice or for mixing. I haven’t tried it hot yet.

Not bad, maybe a bit weak. Ended up steeping for 6-7 minutes as I got distracted. The added flavors come through well, and make for a reasonable cup of tea.

Well balanced and very easy drinking.

This tea is the basic green tea from Lipton. I like to drink it when I wake up.

For a teabag and for Lipton this is AMAZING stuff.
Dont overbrew (as with all teas and esp green tea) as it will quickly turn to crap.

I love peppermint herbal tea – caffeine free and tasty. BUT, if I have to have a fruity tea – I want mango and or peach. This was a delightful blend of the two. The taste was clear, not too intense, tangy without being citrusy and very pleasant to the taste buds. For a lesser quality of “fruit teas” – this was nice.

Given to me at work. Made the mistake of looking at the date on the box. Good grief – amateurs… Even expired this was actually pretty good. It smells nice. The taste of the mango and peach can be easily separated and the flavorings don’t hide the tea flavor. The tea pieces are pretty small but a lot larger than usual tea fannings. Nicely done.

I had exactly two tea bags left of both the cinnamon apple and the chamomile. So I decided to brew all four bags together. Will be drinking them while working on the next project, so, ya know

First cup: Lovely color and delightful smell. Smells like a dessert. The first taste is not very desserty, but there is a tartness there that I like.

Second cup: Less smelly, but the taste is more fruity. I can also, just barely taste the chamomile. Still rather tart on the back end of the swallow. Very tasty.

Third cup: Very little smell, but the taste is very tart with something more of apple than was in the other two cups. What I thought might be the chamomile is gone.

While this is really nice, I don’t think that cinnamon apple herbal tea is my cuppa. It does make me want to try the spiced apple chai I have coming from adagio.com.

Sweet and delicious although it does not have a very strong tea taste.
Will only drink with sweetened condensed milk.

I just had one tea bag left, so I nuked this in the microwave. I very rarely do this except for single bags. That, and I didn’t have anything that I wanted to brew it with, which is usually the fate of such sad, lonely tea bags.

Only cup: Gorgeous smell. Taste is almost too astringent. This tea bag might have been a little on the old side, because I keep imagining I taste the paper bag on the back end. Half way through the cup, the taste of the peel shows up. I know it’s weird, but I like that kind of bitter citrus taste. Unless I find something better, this is going on my shopping list.

I made chai using 3 tea bags. Not bad! I used a LOT of cardamom too!

Hot water plus “tea”.
