Pear is a flavour I really do enjoy when done right, and I find that this tea has a great balance. A little sweet, a bit tart, and the chocolate accent really pairs well. Adding just a bit of sugar cuts down on the tart and brings out more of a caramelized pear note.
So yeah. Compared to the other tea I just tried, this is a welcome cuppa heaven!

The tea bag comes in a paper packet that is not air tight. I am not sure how long this was sitting in the cupboard but the tea bag didn’t have much smell at all (probably because it is old and the packaging is not air tight).

The tea tasted alright. The fruit flavors were more prominent than the green tea. I didn’t notice any bitter taste at all as mentioned in another review. Maybe it was prepared differently

Aroma is pear, caramel and fudge.
In taste the pear is very evident, despite its small amount in the composition. Slight sweetness, caramel in the background.

This is the best tea ive ever had and im so mad that Lipton discontinued it. For being so popular and winter coming im shocked they took this off the shelves. Ive had to pay so much just to get this tea and now i cant find it anywhere except for $20 a Box< which i will pay cause its that good. We need to start a Petition to bring this tea back. Immediately!!!!!

The Mandarin taste and smell was more prominent than the green tea. It actually reminded me of some fruity herbal teas. I really liked it so I will probably buy a box of this tea.

I drank this tea hot and I really enjoyed it. It is very fruity so I think it would be good as an iced tea as well. It was surprising how fast the water turned dark red.

The mango, peach and white tea flavor were all good but mild. However, I couldn’t taste the Island flavor at all!

All in all it is a great tasting tea but I would like it even better if the fruit flavors were more prominent.

This was the worst unsweetened tea I have ever tasted. I was surprised as I love Lipton tea and consider it the best brand of teas on the market. Pure Leaf has a funky, tangy aftertaste which I found to render it undrinkable. The best unsweet ice tea, if I have to purchase it premade is Milo’s Unsweetened Tea. Other than that, I usually make ice tea the old-fashioned way by brewing it on the stove and then refrigerating it by a gallon at a t time. Don’t waste your money on Pure Leaf.

Nothing spectacular. You won’t spit it out in disgust but it’s not the best brew out there. Pretty standard black tea.

Sipdown! Finally. Astringent base. Flavoring reminded me of Froot Loops, which weirded me out. Ah well, you buy cheap, you’re going to get cheap. Lesson learned!

Purchased a cheap electric kettle for my desk at work because my hot water options up until this point were a dirty microwave or a Keurig, God help me.

This one tastes better when made with fresh, properly boiled water and steeped for a longer period of time. Imagine that! Bumping up the rating.

The Froot Loops taste went away and it actually resembles an EG now. Still not a fantastic one, but an acceptable work cuppa. Double-bagged it to increase flavor.

Must remember to bring my tea ball infuser for my loose-leaf Twinings EG tomorrow.

This tea… tastes like Froot Loops. I taste a fake orange flavor, but it certainly isn’t bergamot orange. And why on earth would they put marigold buds in an EG?

It’s fine if Lipton wants to make a black orangey-marigold blend. They just really shouldn’t bait and switch people by labeling it as something that it clearly is not.

In a word, disgusting.

In several words, it smelled like Lemon Pledge, and it tasted like water with a hint of tea that might have had bergamot passed over it at some point… The slightest dash of skim milk completely overpowered it and rendered it absolutely worthless. No wonder the store I got this at was hawking it on clearance for $1.50 a box. Normally the pyramid bag blends are far superior to anything else this company produces, but in this case, I’d rather drink the regular orange pekoe swill that they peddle than this witch’s brew of cheap nastiness.

0/10; would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Very basic black tea, I usually use it to make honey milk tea. It blends very nicely with the milk and honey I add.

I’m probably biased when it comes to this drink (I really wouldn’t call it a “tea”, tea flavored is more like it). My grandfather drank these daily for years. When I would visit his house he’d always ask if I’d like a green tea as he pulled one of these out of the fridge. He passed away last year. I miss him everyday and this is one of those little things that brings back memories for me.

I will rate it rationally on the taste. It is refreshing, cheap (I got this 12 pack of 16oz bottles for $5 on sale), and crisp. The bottle says “citrus”, with photos of oranges & limes on the label, but what I mainly pick up is grapefruit in it.

It is sweetened with aspartame, which will keep me from making this more than just an occasional beverage. Nostalgia aside, if I was at a restaurant having lunch, and this was offered, I would prefer this over a Coke or Pepsi.

I’m pretty sure this is the tea I just made. Pretty sure. ;) The label on the tea bags just said “Poire Chocolat”.

It’s actually a lot better than I expected! It smells a little like toasted rice, which is somewhat weird. But the flavour is a little sweet. Breathing in over the tea with my mouth, I get the taste of floral pear. And also evaporating off my tongue after I sip. It’s not super chocolatey, but there are hints.

I don’t think I’d want a whole box, as ripe pear really isn’t my favourite flavour, but I’m really glad I got to try this one! Thank you!

GREAT TEA this smell… :)

This is the first Earl Grey I’ve had in probably fifteen years. From what I understand, it’s not typical of a traditional Earl Grey to have marigold flowers in it. I have reviews (and will review more) of the Lipton pyramid teas. I like them, for a supermarket brand they’re not bad at all (I also tend to find them on sale around here for $1.50 a box).

This tea is delicious hot (I add a little Splenda), with light orange notes. As it cools it does take on a Froot Loops flavor, not sure why that is, but I still find it enjoyable. Sometimes I do double the strength and pour it over ice. It would rival any chain coffee shop ice tea I’ve had. It’s not fancy but it makes a yummy cuppa, isn’t that what tea drinking is all about?

What can I say, I really enjoy this tea. It tastes good hot and makes a delicious glass of iced tea. I found these on sale for $1.25 a box. I wasn’t sure if I would like it or not, so I only bought one box, big mistake because now they’re gone.

Very smooth basic black tea, I’ve yet to have a bad cup with it. As long as it is on the store shelves it’ll also be in my cupboard.
