I have received this tea from postcrossing in the end of September. It is limited edition and I am afraid I will be only one who writes few lines on this site. This tea is overall well accpeted and reviews were saying it’s nice. Let’s see what thinks non-russian citizen.

It is flavoured black tea. When I took a sniff on pyramid sachet, a blueberry hit my nose. The leaf is broken, but nice size, not a fannings nor dust. Brew after 5 minutes (recommended time) is clear and copper colour.

The aroma of tea (brewed) is way more berry-like; raspberry and black currant. Taste is more mediocre. it is berry, but quite muted and only little of mint — rather just some cooling effect.

Overall, I have expected more fruity notes, especially when the aroma of pyramid sachet was so nice and pleasant; but it doesn’t transfer much to taste. The tea is probably Ceylon (as usual in Russian teas) because it is bit citrusy base, quite light and certainly there are no malty and robust flavours.

It has a perfumed, synthetic taste to it which makes me wonder if the ingredient list is accurate.

After ordering a box on Amazon without doing any research on it I am now left with 16 packets or so of it, afraid to use the rest lest they prove to be LETHAL, lol. Just kidding, but really, the taste is very off putting to me.

As far as Christmas teas go, this is definitely a miss and a huge disappointment. Skip this, go pick up Harney and Son’s Holiday Tea.

Now THERE is a tea that taste like Christmas… I did order the two teas at the same time, this one and Harney’s, so maybe I am just judging it so harshly because I am comparing it directly with Harney’s… which is, once again, FANTASTIC.

IF YOU NEED A LITTLE CHRISTMAS CHEER DURING THESE TROUBLED TIMES, CANNOT RECOMMEND HARNEY AND SON’S MORE.

Their White Christmas and Hot Cinnamon Spice teas are also fantastic as well.

Easter tea for Easter.

Altough they suggest 5-7 minutes, I did rather short, around 3 or 4 minutes.

It was somehow weak in flavour, but it can be caused by age. Noticed certainly vanilla but not citrus fruits but stone fruits instead, like cherry and sour cherry.

Quite an interesting taste combination, but certainly not bad one, it was actually quite tasty and nice. Pleasantly sour too.

Got two of these in an envelope from my friend with a T. Rex postage stamp on it. He said he was sending me a “moolong”. Well, these looked highly suspicious, but they’re surprisingly good—probably because they don’t actually taste like milk! Just a light, creamy, fruity floral. Really unique. Wouldn’t buy an entire box, but these are worth a try if someone offers you a bag.

Prepared this one as afternoon/evening tea. I had a long inventory check, then I slept about two hours when my father woke me up. But it’s okay, some days have to suck and then we will see the bright days better.

I just let it steep all time drinking, that wasn’t the wisest idea though. It contains hibi, so it turned out quite tart in the end, but I think they managed red grapes taste pretty well. It was kind of mouth watering, simple drinking fruit blend. It has got that pleasant sourness of red wine as well and it was even bit drying.

Honestly, I am kind of amazed that red wine/grapes taste can be in tea so well.

Certainly a recommended from me – considering a) tea bag b) kind of unique flavour, which is well transformed!

Third green tea tasting note today :D

I agree with Chi Chieko completely. 5-7 minutes as suggested must be too much for greens, so I did maybe about 3 minutes and as there was too little water, I did only 200 ml.

Turned out pretty nice, base tea was somehow basic, but pineapple was certainly there. Unfortunately, it was somehow one-dimensional, simple flavouring. Would enjoy some other tropic fruits there, or they claim it is with ginger, but I do not get any spicy notes. Maybe loose leaf would be bit better.

Some light peppermint taste. Balanced, but really nothing special.

Dry aroma wasn’t pleasing. It was very strong on lemon balm, earthy as well. On the bag they suggest brewing 5-7 minutes and with boiling water.

I did it with steeping maybe for 3-4 minutes; certainly not boiling water. I think it can be around 80°C, because it’s green tea after all.

Aroma is still earthy. And herbal. Bit lemony too.
But this tea tastes better than smells like. It is still somehow earthy, but it has got nice taste of lemon balm and more-less fresh green tea. Of course you can’t expect grassy notes or freshly cut grass, or all the nice things about really fresh tea. It brews brown too – not nice grass green colour.

I received this tea from Russia today via Postcrossing.

In water it turns into deep red colour (hibiscus makes its job) and exotic fruits aroma rises up. I have noticed in scents those (no order): orange, pineapple, mango, maybe bit of rosehip.

In taste (it was hot for long time) it was mostly pineapple and mango.

It was delight and quite suprisingly refreshing. Bit of tartness (but I steeped for really long, way too much)

The blueberry flavor is just noticeable, not too much or too little. The hibiscus adds a nice tartness that accentuates the tea very well.

I have to agree with the prior review, the lemon flavor is hardly there at all. But aside from that, the tea is very good.

Interesting black tea. Definitely has a “Christmas” taste, with notes of orange rind, cinnamon, clove, and some other spices.

A friend gave me this tea as a birthday gift and it has been very nice~. The aroma is a fruity sweet and smooth, and the taste is equally as pleasant. A nice flowery wine taste (without the alcoholic taste of course~), and the aftertaste is is a nice wood and. I really enjoy it during the evening and/or nighttime.

Generally I like strawberry, and I like chocolate too, so this tea seemed like a superb choice – well, it wasn’t. I can’t really feel the chocolate in it, and it also lacks strawberry flavor.
Still it has some nice flavor, but I couldn’t really define it… for me it just doesn’t works.

I like this tea, smells fantastic, however for me it tastes a bit too “Strong”, I mean the black tea tries to overwhelm the vanilla, its like a battle in your mouth, which is not bad, but I’m generally searching for more calm adventures :) Its still a recommended one!

My absolute favourite one!
It has a nice and creamy orange flavor plus some smooth spices, which mixes perfectly with the texture of the tea. I highly recommend this tea to every rooibos lover, worth a taste (or more) :)

This is a nice, fruity blend that is perfect for spring and summer. It has a very light flavor that is not overpowering.
