Good quality tea with excellent character and distinct smoky flavor, not quite strong as blacks from India, but it is not mellow as many Chinese teas that I have tried. Excellent price. I use it for the afternoon 5o’clock brew.

Really good strong tea. Do pay attention to the brewing times it can get bitter. It has excellent character, distinct woody scent, it has that bitter taste that I appreciate in real teas. Well worth the purchase to wake yourself up in the mornings.

First thank you Brandy for sending me this tea and sorry it took so long to try it but better late then never. :-)

As for the tea it definitely isn’t my cuppa. I actually had to dump it. I only got through half a cup. The flavors were all over the place, they didn’t make sense together and I didn’t even recognize tea flavors that were in the there. I will sum up by calling this one a mess.

This a wonderful Assam, particularly for those of us who don’t like milk or sugar in our tea. Substantial without being overpowering. Great price, too.

So I just had the BEST REALIZATION EVER.

This is the fruity rooibos I measure all other rooibos by, but as far as I’ve seen, English Tea Store isn’t readily available in Canada. But guess who will be in the States for Christmas?

I am so stocking up. I love this tea, it’s fruity and strawberry-y and wonderful. I have yet to find another rooibos I love as much as this one.

I don’t know why I’ve been craving rooibos lately. I think it has something to do with the creamy mouthfeel it gives me and my recent decision to give up milk. shrugs

Anyway, this is a definite winner. It’s not tart, it’s not artificial tasting, it’s just plain good. I think I like the Strawberry Shortcake better, but it’s good to have this as a backup in case I can’t find the other!

Strawberry Tingle…wow that almost sounds naughty :)

Kay Kanada

Not only are you on a rooibos binge, but you also seem to be on a strawberry binge these days, too!

PS LOVE that name. It would be my stage name if I were a stripper.

Daddyselephant

lmao @DJBooth

Kay, that’s because I found the perfect strawberry rooibos and then couldn’t find it online and I’m scared it’s been discontinued XD. So I’m trying to reassure myself that I have other options >.< Also, I love me some berries!

The DJBooth

:) but seriously it sounds like something you would get at a pure romance party

Plunkybug

I’ve been picking more rooibos up lately too, and I’m not a rooibos fan. Alpine Punch changed my tune, and so I picked up some Orange Blossom on suggestion recently, then yesterday I got 20g of Green and Fruity.

Backlogging from yesterday, I had this in my travel mug to wander around with. I really enjoyed it! It didn’t get artificial on me like the Tealish strawberry rooibos, and if there is hibiscus in it, I couldn’t taste it. It was wonderful, thank you for sharing it with me SimplyJenW (I think…my spreadsheet failed me on this one)

Yep…from me! You are a swapaholic! :D But I look at that as a good thing!

Daddyselephant

Yay! I wanted to be sure to thank whoever sent me what tea when I tried it, so I, ah…kinda made a spreadsheet as they all came in >.>. Somehow this one didn’t make it on there, but it was so good! Thanks again!

Hmmm . . . could be that I oversteeped, but what I’m tasting is some fake grenadine flavour over a little tiny bit of vanilla and some not-great black tea. Will try another cup before I write it off completely, but yeah. Bleh.

My afternoon pick me up. Back in my cupboard thanks to Brandy3392. Ah yes! I remember why I like this one so much. Malty. Bright. I would also say hoppy/floral. Hoppy because the wet leaf smells like wort. If you don’t know what wort is then let us consult Wikipedia “Wort is the liquid extracted from the mashing process during the brewing of beer or whisky. Wort contains the sugars that will be fermented by the brewing yeast to produce alcohol.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wort So you see this is a beautiful thing when your day is dragging at work. Some might say that wart smells like wet dog or a pet store, but I tend to air on the side that it is a beautiful thing. Cheers!

Started the day off with this after making waffles for my bride to be. I’m thinking I’m going to have buy more of this when my sample runs out. I noticed that it was quite a bit more malty than normal. Very good!

A blend that Duncan Macleod would be glad start his day off with. Mixed with roasted Mate also makes a combination to rival any cup of coffee. Give me my broadsword to take on the day!

I’m still blown away at how good this tea is. For the price, it can’t be beat.

Surprisingly good, particularly for the price. This could end up as my “everyday” Keemun!

Thanks to Brandy3392 I get to try this tea. I was surprised to see white chocolate chips in this blend. Upon seeing those I thought this would be a highly flavored blend, but it is not. It is subtle in flavoring, just light bright and sweet cherry with a creamy sweetness. This was a great choice to help awaken me this afternoon. I’ve been in a fog throughout the morning. Feeling better already!

If you are looking for a very juice-like tisane, this one is excellent. The taste is mostly orange and pineapple, but it somehow more complex than that. I was concerned that this would just taste like warm orange juice or Tang, fortunately it doesn’t. Not too tart, just right. I would definitely buy this one again. Prepared with stevia.

This is a good, cheap, pure assam tea (that you can get in bags – perfect for at work). It’s great when you want something strong to wake you up. Assam is my favorite tea because of its strength and malty flavor, and this doesn’t disappoint. It may be a little harsh and bitter, but nothing some milk and sweetener can’t fix. Prepared with almond milk and stevia. I can’t wait to try it with some flavored stevia!

Unlike many chocolate teas, this actually tastes like chocolate. It does have a bit of an artificial flavor, but not enough to bother me. Prepared with almond milk and stevia.

Finally, a chocolate tea that tastes like chocolate. Good chocolate mint flavor, reminds me of the Velamints candies I used to have as a kid. Like most chocolate teas, this does have a bit of an artificial flavor, but not enough to bother me. Prepared with almond milk and stevia.
