Dry tea is crinkly green and light yellow-brown leaves. Liquor is by turns malty, earthy, and ever-so-slightly vegetal. Aroma is what I’d call swampy (wet vegetation) – not in a bad way, really – it just smells like what it is – wet leaves.

Adding sugar and half&half seems to bring the malty aspects to the fore.

Lighter, but more complex, than pretty much any black I’ve ever had (I usually drink British style/flavored blacks if at all, so this is new territory). I don’t think it’s my new favorite by any stretch, but I can appreciate it.

Cold brewed about 2 tbsp of this overnight with one bag of Harney & Sons White Peach to make a pitcher of light, refreshing peach oolong iced tea that I’ve been enjoying all week!

Having this with my Chinese takeout. A nice mild tea that complements but does not overpower a meal. Happy Lunar New Year!

XD That band seems like the 70’s version of youtube hipster low-fi videos. The bassist looks just like my brother too!

Grassy and vegetal, but not bitter (hooray I finally managed to to oversteep/scorch a green tea!). A light, clean, healthy-tasting cup of tea for a morning after indulging in wine and sweets last night. Seems ever so slightly astringent up front, but slightly sweet on the finish. I’m still learning about the nuances of loose green tea, but glad I have this one in my cupboard for the sake of variety.

I have no idea where this tea came from. It’s been in my cabinet for a while, but I can’t remember purchasing it. The bergamot is a bit too strong, so I might just get rid of it.
