Went five minutes steeping time and liked it better.

I followed the four minutes steeping time recommended. I think it needs to go a bit longer.

My respects to coffee, but tea is so much easier to drink first thing in the morning. I guess I never got my taste for straight black coffee, though i did try it once, by drinking 7 cups of straight coffee through a 3-hour period. Didn’t work. Oh well, good work, tea shrub!

Arguably the best cup of this I’ve made to date. Dunno what I did different, but I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Whoops, ruined this cup. I poured the water in, but I forgot the timer. 12 minutes later I had undrinkable swill. Let that be a lesson to fellow tea drinkers: DO NOT FORGET THE TIMER!

Alright, yeah. This stuff is fantastic. It’s got a nice roasty taste to it. Goes good with the slightest hint of Splenda, or sugar if you prefer.

I finally broke down and gave it a whirl. Had a strong roasted quality which I haven’t tasted since I tried Adagio’s English Breakfast. It’s quite a contrast to DFT’s more floral Nepal. Not bad, but I don’t think it’ll be my favorite just yet. Might take a few more cups before I decide on it.

Second steeping. This thing steeps a second time better than almost any tea I’ve ever had!
