I tend to like more malty oolongs than florally oolongs… and this tea is definitely leaning more towards the earthy floral type. It almost tastes a bit like green tea to me which is a bit odd but it also has a stronger flavor than most oolongs that I have tried. The back of my tongue tastes a distinctly smokey note. Not my favorite, but not too bad:]

Oh, golly, Miss Molly! Am I excited to try this tea! It is Disney!:D I have ever been fascinated by the sure skill of their marketing and how easily I can get swept up into the “Disney Magic.” But I am no where near as crazy about Disney as many others are.. much rather cuddle up with my neuro research and a nice cup of tea than wait in lines with a billion people buzzing about:P But place and time— both have their lovely moments.
This tea has a nice medium strength base with gorgeous notes of peach and apricot. mmm, yum. It is one of the better apricot teas that I have tried and doesn’t taste too far off from the apricot that I had for breakfast. I do enjoy that it has flavor but without being too overpowering, very well done. A great blend with a sweet spice from the ginger. Oh, Disney.

I had Eve by Nina’s Paris today. It’s a really good apricot tea, IMO, if you’re looking for another.
I read your review on that earlier! It sounds absolutely amazing^.^ I’m going to have to get my hands on some of that:P
If you haven’t already, you can email Nina’s Paris USA and request three free samples- you don’t even have to pay shipping :-)
mj Really?! Oh my gosh! I must try this^.^ Thank you!
Skysamurai That is adorable!^.^ Did you actually get it in Disneyland? :]
Yes! It’s completely awesome! usa@ninasparis.com

This tea has a nice malty flavor to it with a nice aroma. It isn’t quite as caramel-y or honey-y as I have had with other golden monkey teas. It does oddly leave my mouth a bit dry after every sip—weird. It is a decent golden monkey but the $18.98 that is costs for two ounces is wayyy too high for the quality.

When in doubt, pinky out! ← that’s what I kept thinking while drinking this tea. It reminds me of tea and biscuits at the eve of noon:P Probably because it has a bit of an English breakfast taste to me. I was having a tough time distinguishing the individual flavors, it tasted mostly of a very mild potpourri of spices. A decent tea, I just wish there was a bit more here.

Looking into the cup, it distinctly looks like a cup of berry juice with some chocolate melted in…like a rich red color muted by a light tone of brown form the chocolate. I don’t know why but their ability to make it look like this makes me giggle>.<
After getting over my ridiculous gigglefest and taking a sip of this tea, it is very blech. It is tartly berryful with too strong of a chocolate note for me. And boy does it taste artificial…

So I have a confession: I am a fluent Spanish speaker and have my own yerba buena plant (the traditional mint for mojitos) but never have I ever had a mojito:P Yep. So there’s that:P I’m not entirely sure what this is suposeddd to taste like (besides knowing that it has mint and lime in it)… but I can tell you that it tastes pretty darn delicious:D
This tea is quite strong on the citrus note that is heavy on lime with a few hints of pineapple sneaking in there. There is just the right amount of mint to balance out the citrus. The fruit doesn’t take over as I can distinctly taste the lightness of the white tea, which I rather enjoy. When it is iced, it loses that odd thickness that it seems to have and is very refreshing. A lovely, sweet mint tea.
Flavors: Lime, Mint

I’m not a drinker at all, but I often take a sip when my boyfriend orders a mojito. :P They’re quite tasty (assuming you like mint) and generally not a super strong drink.

This tea smells simply divine and after seeing all the ripe huckleberries on the trail on Sunday, I had to try this one. The smell of this tea is much stronger than the flavor, but the flavor is still gorgeously huckleberry! Yum. Market Spice did a great job capturing the wildlife essence of Seattle in this tea. mmm.
To me, this tea tasted way better sans sweetener (I usually add sweetener about halfway through so I know what it tastes like with and without sweetener). And if I were to have another cup of this tea, I would leave out that sweetener:]

Wow, this tea is gooood. This tea does not need an introduction, it speaks for itself:P It is just creamy, buttery, eggnogy goodness. Ohhh la la, so good. It tastes mostly of eggnog and the flavor of the green tea really hides in the background without giving off the slightest bit of vegetal taste. Yum. .

Okay, this is another chocolate tea… but there weren’t any large chunks of chocolate in this one either.. so I had to try it anyways. I’m glad that the mint was stronger in this than the chocolate for me:] The mint had a nice cooling effect where the chocolate just seemed to provide some sweetness to the tea. It almost tasted like it had some vanilla in it. As far as chocolate teas go, it was pretty decent:]
