I can’t really decide if I like this one or not. It isn’t overly sweet to me, nor do I get any chocolate flavor – so it’s not “s’mores” to me. (I do get a chocolate scent, just very, very little flavor.) There is definitely a toastiness from a graham cracker note, and I do get marshmallow. I really find I have to overleaf this one pretty dramatically, so I haven’t tried it with milk yet as that requires it to be that much stronger. It would probably be good if you just flat out brewed it in hot milk, though. I like it at the level of sweetness it has, but if I wanted to truly emulate a s’mores flavor, I’d add a bit more sugar and definitely more chocolate. It’s still warm and comfy and dessert-y, just not s’mores. Given how much tea I have to use to make it, it’s pretty expensive for a tea that is just OK.

Flavors: Chocolate, Graham Cracker, Marshmallow, Toasty

Preparation
Boiling 6 min, 15 sec 5 tsp 12 OZ / 354 ML

Bio

Wife, mom of 2 crazy young kids (and 3 cats, if they count). Used to be a professional tree hugger, now I stay at home hobbit-like and teach the kids to love the trees. Also hobbit-like, I love reading, tea, second breakfasts, cooking and food in general, and gardens. (I can’t really say I love gardening since where I live, it’s too dratted hot for too much of the year to actually do it.) I am always on the search for a good flavored decaf black tea. Suggestions are more than welcome!

I tend to like my teas strong, so I use more than most people when I brew. Don’t be put off a tea because I say I used 4 tsp to brew 12 oz or something – that’s just me.

PS – Unlike a hobbit, my toes are not furry. I just feel the need to clarify.
