drank Vanilla Caramel by Bigelow

I love vanilla & caramel & together they are wonderful! I came across this tea by chance & I was itching to taste it. Good choice.

It’s not a go to flavor that I have to keep on hand all the time, but every so often I look for it. And I normally have it tucked away in my desk at work.

I love the smell as it’s steeping. And I like the taste. It’s smooth & creamy & not overpowering. It’s a mellow flavor. Not overly strong or bitter.

I used to love bigelow flavored blends and this was a good one. I also used to love the vanilla chai.

I happen to like the Vanilla Chai as well. Guess I should post a review for that one.
Bigelow makes some good teas.

Same! I used to love them!

drank Coconut by Adagio Teas

I love the smell of coconut. It’s warm & inviting.

When I opened the bag on this tea, I let the coconut smell hit my senses. I even started eating some of the coconut shavings from the bag.

I love this tea hot with a little sweet kick. I add a little Sugar in the Raw or even a touch of vanilla agave. I have tried it with a splash of coconut creamer & it’s good.

I haven’t tried it cold….I probably should during the summer. Might make for a refreshing drink.

drank Pure Green Tea by PG Tips

I love green tea. I love that Earthy taste. It’s simple & it’s good. And this tea is just that. Don’t over think it. Green tea isn’t for everyone…so if you don’t appreciate a good cuppa green tea, then pass on this one.

I bought a box at my local supermarket (Raul, I got it at Waldbaums because I know you’re going to ask….but I’m sure Fairway has it too). They were on sale. $2 for a box of 40 teabags. I figured it was worth a shot.

Turned out to be good. Better than I expected for a teabag.

After cringing at buying Candy Cane due to the ravings on this site & hating it, I was hesitant at trying another holiday tea from Celestial Seasonings. Good thing I took the leap of faith.

I love this tea!!!

As soon as I got home I opened up the box & the aroma of gingerbread filled my nose. I was whisked away to a holiday of long ago, eating gingerbread men & feeling so happy.

I heated the water & dropped in the teabag. I let that smell fill my nostrils with joy.

Then I decided to set the mood. The lights are off, my Christmas tree is lit up, I’m watching ‘Miracle on 34th Street’, a plate of tea biscuits sit before me & oh yes, the amazing smelling cuppa Gingerbread Spice tea is joining me.

The first sip is a test to see how hot the water is. Come on….we all do it. The second sip really lets me soak in the flavor. After that, I will have come to whatever conclusion about this tea.

So let me say it again…
I love this tea!

It’s a very strong ginger & cinnamon flavor. If you don’t LOVE either, then pass on this tea. You will not appreciate it. If you do love either flavor, then you will love this tea.

The aroma is as strong as the taste & is just as pleasing. There is a spice to it. Very well done.

I made my cuppa with a little local made honey. (Queens County Farm in Glen Oaks makes the best local grown honey!)

I did enjoy dunking a tea biscuit into this cuppa tea….just wish maybe I had an actual gingerbread man cookie!

Enjoy!

drank Bavarian Wild Berry by Lipton

Bought this on a trip to my local supermarket. They were on sale 2 for $7. I bought this flavor & something else. I’ve already forgotten the other flavor!

I liked it. I liked the smell & there is a good berry flavor. Definitely one I would buy again. I keep a box at work to grab when I am in the mood. I like the smell in my desk drawer from it. It actually overpowers my other teas, but not in a bad way.

Okay, this isn’t the best green tea in the world, but it’s far from being the worst.
Green teas have an Earthy taste. Get over it or move on. This tea is mild compared to most. Lightly sweeten it & you should enjoy it.
Easy for a quick cuppa green when you can’t brew the loose leaf stuff.

Not sure how I feel on this one.
My first cup came out weak so I waited a few days to try again. Added more tea to the cup & let it steep a little longer the second time & it had a funky chemical taste to it. Oddly enough, the smell during brewing was good. Made me think of warm banana bread baking.

The second cup did not impress me.

So I waited again a few more days & tried a third cup.
Still not convinced I like it. I want to like it because I love the idea of the banana flavoring, but this does not work for me.

Sometimes you get lucky when you buy something because you stumble upon it, withouth ever having tried it before. Such is the case with this Gojiberry tea.

First off, sorry I don’t have a better picture to post. But I had to make sure you saw the box….so you’ll be able to run out & buy it…

I stumbled upon this box in Home Goods. They often sell gourmet foods at really reasonable prices. I don’t remember exactly what I paid for this tea, but I would gladly pay double for another box!

The flavor is a mix of tart & sweet. And the smell is delightful. Definitely a light herbal, with a lot of great flavor.

The box I bought has 50 teabags in it & I believe I bought this in October….I have two teabags left! I’m running back to Home Goods to pray they have more. If not, I’m going to have to search the web to find this tea.

I only sweeten this with local honey. Overall, it makes for a great cuppa tea!
Enjoy!

Bought this at a steal of a price for a multi pack on Amazon & it didn’t last long!

I love green tea. I love the Earthy taste & the aroma during brewing. It used to be an issue brewing loose leaf tea at work…..so this bagged tea was a big favorite.

If you’re looking for a deep pomegranate flavor, you won’t find it here. It’s more a mild fruit flavor, but not a nasty aftertaste. You won’t need much sugar in this one. I normally add a little agave for a drop of sweet.

Definitely one to keep on hand.

I’ve been drinking loose leaf teas over the last year, but I still find myself going back to this tea.

I love it!

I enjoy the simple flavors & with a little fresh honey, this makes for a great cuppa tea. I always keep this on hand. Love it hot, but also appreciate it iced from time to time.
