Cloudy Days has been proving to do wonders as a daily drinker, although Fall has yet arrived in Ohio, I’m finding this suitable for the “late summer” daily drinker. It has so much thickness on the mouthfeel, with a creamy, thick, deep earth, and Autumn note. It allows the individual to find longing for the change of color in the trees, light jackets, pumpkin pie, freshly picked apples, candied apples, a walk in the cool morning, a Fall drive into the country, and everything else which is included with the season. And yes, the weather doesn’t offer the hope and joy that one expects with the month; however, Cloudy Days remains as the hopeful cup which allows you to pine for the seasonal change. You’re left yearning with every cup—yearning to have the tea and season—as they’d fit perfectly together.
Flavors: Creamy, Earth, Sweet, Thick

I was going to drink a hongcha on the equinox (since I associate hongcha the most with autumn), but you’ve inspired me to start on my Cloudy Days cake.
I wish I had this one on file! Such a lovely description of the seasonal features, you really made me crave some Shou.

Do it! It’s tasty! :)

I’ve been avoiding shou for a while now, but this one is working itself in as a daily drinker. It’s a fairly nice price for a cake. :)
