Maybe there is something wrong with my batch. I am still not impressed.
I can taste the almond, but its normal almond, not a sweet almond, if that makes any sense. And I am getting none of the sugar or the cookie aspects of this. This is a problem, as I have a sweet tooth the size of my head, and tea is an outlet for this. Tea will not make me gain insane amounts of weight, like an endless supply of baked goods will.
Gah. And I have a lot of this Simpson and Vail tea, as I got a fair amount with my black friday orders. And the paper packaging worries me, just a little.
Well, I will make an effort to drink this all quickly, both for purposes of freshness, and for reasons of meh.

Try overleafing and then steeping for like 2.5 minutes at around 180. That pulls out some cookie flavor. I was really disappointed in this tea too until I tried that. Still not mind blowing, but if you have more to get through, it might help.

Yeah, this one really let me down, especially considering all the raves. I will try overleafing though. Maybe we can salvage our orders.

I love tea! I confess that I was a hot chocolate lover for most of my life, but recently a switch has gone off in my brain, and suggested that I might just love tea. And I do!
I’m a bit of a novice, but an enthusiastic one, and am happily sipping new varieties all the time.
I love vanilla, fruity, and caramel flavors, and cant wait to try more.
