This, I confess it freely, was my introduction to Darjeelings, and I’ve still got some of it in bags in my kitchen. I have moments of affection for it, as it introduced me to Darjeelings, which I love, and when I came across it the other day, I thought I’d make a cup.
Goodness its bitter. Until I had drunk some better tea, and I hadn’t realized just how intense this way.
Still, I’ll try to finish up my few packets of it, out of nostalgia, and then I shall move on to better Darjeelings.
