1497 Tasting Notes
Still intense. I quite like it though… the longer I steep it the more, um, pungent it gets. Sort of plastic-y thick, with a waxy feel to it. Weird stuff comes out of my pores and body when I drink this, in a good way.
Flavors: Grass, Herbaceous, Thick

OMG this makes an amazing Bulletproof Tea. (look on my Instagram for what I mean, although I took a picture of Hot Chocolate instead: http://instagram.com/bonnyadventures)
I was a bit surprised, as I’m getting a bit tired of this tea… although it still smells amazing, and that’s why I keep the last of it around. Silly, I know.
Drinking this today, and have a GORGEOUS picture to share, just need to upload it from my phone. It’s a bit flat – was expecting a bit more complexity in the first steep (after a quick rinse). Green, light, earthy, a bit crunchy (?) and sweet, grass-like but lighter. Have kept it to re-steep a few more times and see how I feel as it goes.
Flavors: Earth, Grass, Sweet

In Jasper, and this was for sale in the local health food store – one of two places to buy food in this town that isn’t a restaurant. I wanted to buy every single blend, however I only have room for one, so this is it.
I loved drinking this. Not entirely sure I can put it into words. It was… grounding. (as the packaging suggests). Felt really good. Nourishing. I drank it faster than any other tea today. It just felt good at a soul level. I can’t explain why.
I think I might need more of this before I head off to Edinburgh on the 1st.

Steepster, I love you. I’m not sure why it isn’t mutual… I mean, I really love you. I send you new peeps all the time, I talk you up constantly, I support you wherever possible, I’m here for you…
… and you seem to consistently lose my tea ratings in thanks.
This is one of those reviews. I know I’ve reviewed it – I know where I was sitting when I reviewed it just a few weeks back when I bought this. And yet…
So, yes, I’ll get over it. Just please, tell me, how can I support you, to support me, oh lovely Steepster? :)
(BTW: this tea is quite lovely, I’m really enjoyed the aged and/or smoked whites, it’s surprisingly sweet and robust).
I think I love this tea’s name more than I do the actual tea. I always want it to taste like Twinning’s Buttermint… sigh… okay, stop ruminating about ole teas of yore there Miss B, you’ll get back to the UK to get more soon enough.
I know it’s just spices. I know I can add this to pretty much any tea and make it my own. I know I can. But I don’t. I just drink it before bed because there’s zero caffeine, it’s a bit unique in the chai department, and I love the spice combo. I also know it’s too pricey for just, well, spices, to replenish, so I’ll enjoy it as-is until I’m out.
