Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Mahamosa offers high quality gourmet teas, spices and herbs from around the world. We have a huge selection of black, oolong, green, white and herbal teas, as well as spices and herbs. Our name is fancifully derived from the Sanskrit term “MAHA” which means “Great”, and “MOSA” from “Formosa” the former name of Taiwan, which is often used in the tea industry.

As part of our Being in the World® mission, we are committed to donating 50% of our after-tax net profits to charitable causes including hunger, poverty, environment, clean water, animal/natural life welfare, and other causes. Your support of our company helps set a higher business standard for global social and environmental responsibility.

We also strive to be as environmentally-friendly as possible, such as using 100% Post Consumer Waste shipping boxes and printing business cards and flyers on 100% Post Consumer Waste paper with soy ink.
