142 Tasting Notes
Day 15 of my Advent Calendar
Another tea i’ve been meaning to try
Dry leaves smell like bergamot and vanilla steeped it smells like bergamot and black tea the liqueuer is the color of pancake syrup.
Time to taste: Bergamot, Black tea and a smooth finish from the vanilla
I really like it! gonna add this to my shopping list
Day 11 on my advent calendar
This is a nice surprise i’ve not tried many of the straight teas david’s has to offer so i am kind of looking forward to this.
Dry leaves smell very vegetal, steeped the liqueur has a lemon limey color and the smell reminds me of the milk oolong which i love, so i’m getting hopeful about this tea.
time to taste: bitter…i knew the water was too hot but darn i was excited… ok i’m not rating this and gonna give it another go
Got this as a sample in my recent order,
the leaves smell like nuts, almonds mostly
The liqueur is a nice lemon color and smells like a chocolate duncan hines cake while its baking in the oven… i know specific smell but it gave me a flashback of sitting in front of the oven door watching my mom’s cake bake.
time to taste: first sip … cocoa and tea, it tastes a lot like it smells again like a duncan hines chocolate cake… i really like this i think i’m gonna add this to my shopping list.
Day 9 on my Advent Calendar
This is another tea i’ve been meaning to try happy to see it in the calendar.
dry leaves i mostly smell mint and i’m also picking up the fennel from the seeds.
liqueur is a nice dark caramel color and smells like peppery mint
Time to taste: mint and the fennel licorice and then it leaves a nice sweet note on the tongue, very refreshing! and very christmassy to me as we usually have fennel on the table to munch on while we play cards.
needed something comforting this morning, dropped the munchkin off for her last day at daycare, she starts preschool next week. anyway i was bawling… will most likely be much worst tonight when she has to say good bye to everyone for the last time…welling up just thinking about this…
this tea will help comfort you whatever your problems and save you from yourself and that box of chocolates you were gonna drown your sorrows in
Another back from the dead tea!
the dry leaves smell like a buttery croissant very comforting this is promissing…
steeped it smella like a raspbery danish, yumm.. the liqueur has a nice redish tint.
Time to Taste: buttery, rich black tea and a little tartness from the raspberries i like it!
