A really nice medley of flavors.
The floral notes of the rose and lavender contrast well with the earthy, nutty flavors of the rooibos and the sweet-tart notes of berry.
The sip starts with floral notes, then I taste the berry notes and and by mid-sip, I’m picking up on the honeyed flavor of the rooibos. A really nice, calming blend.

I can’t say that I’ve ever had a strawberry pina colada. I’m not big on alcoholic drinks. I think the last time I had alcohol is that I took a sip of the champagne my hubby bought a couple of weeks ago. Before that, it had been at least three months since I took a sip of his beer. In the last 12 months, this sipping has maybe resulted in at most, an ounce of ingested alcohol.
Yeah, so … you get the idea. I don’t drink … well, I drink tea. That’s my booze. I’m a teaholic.
Anyway, the strawberry here is a strong flavor, as is the coconut and pineapple. The rum is a very, very subtle note but it’s detectable. It makes a tasty flavor combination for this iced tea. I enjoyed it.

The aroma is sweet, floral and slightly nutty. These notes translate to the flavor although I taste more nutty flavors than I smell nuttiness in the fragrance, and fewer floral notes than the aroma.
A strong honey note, hints of flower, sweet creamy notes that morph into a nuttier flavor as I continue to sip. Very smooth from start to finish. No astringency, no bitterness. Just a pleasure to sip.
Later infusions were not quite as creamy as the first one was at the start, but the nutty flavors continued to develop as did the floral notes – I can taste orchid by the third cup. And creamed corn! Interesting!
A really lovely Oolong. Here’s my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/12/08/dong-ding-oolong-tea-from-palais-des-thes/

This was the third and final tea from my 8th edition box from Postal Teas. I really enjoyed this box and discovering the white teas from Lemon Lily.
Even though these teas all seemed to share a common thread (beyond being all from the same company and all sent in the same sampler box from Postal Teas) – they were all very visually stunning and seemed to have a lot of flowers in them – I enjoyed that I found them all to be unique. They were all quite floral but I liked that I was not only tasting the flower but the other flavors of each blend.
This one is even more floral than the first two were. This blend focuses on the rose and I like the flavor combination of rose and white tea. It’s a soft and subtle combination. Mild fruit notes.
A really lovely tea – not just to look at but also to sip.

The aroma is warm and spicy, it evoked thoughts of my gramma’s kitchen when she’d be baking. The spices are well-balanced. They have a pleasing, well-rounded flavor to them. It’s not too strongly spiced but it’s by no means what I’d call mild either. It reminds me a bit of a spice cookie. I can taste the spices but that’s not all I taste.
The black tea base is a blend of Assam and Ceylon and it’s a hearty background of flavor.
A rich and satisfying chai. Here’s my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/12/05/9-spice-chai-black-tea-from-mks-tea-company/

Yummy and very summer-y tasting. I drank this hot and enjoyed it – I think it would also make a great iced tea but I couldn’t stop drinking it long enough to let it cool to find out.
As I say in my full-length review – http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/12/03/pineapple-black-tea-from-culinary-teas/ – it has a marvelous pineapple flavor. Sweet, juicy and tastes of fresh pineapple. The black tea is rich and a wee bit malty. It has that even flavor of a Ceylon.
I enjoyed this.

As I said in my full-length review of this tea – http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/12/02/white-chai-from-the-persimmon-tree/ – when it comes to this tea, you should throw out everything you’ve come to know about chai because this is deliciously different from any chai you might have had.
I like that this was blended with the white tea base in mind. I can taste the white tea – the flavors are strong but they don’t overpower the delicate qualities of the white tea. It’s subtle, but the other flavors are subtle too – and when they all come together, they create a really pleasant impact.
There is some kick to the chai: peppery, zesty spice. It’s a warm and cozy kind of chai. And I love the fruit in this: the pineapple, coconut, apple and the lemon-lime notes of the lemongrass. I like the sweet, fruity element that these fruit flavors bring to the cup.
Really good and very different – and very interesting!

Very tasty. The notes of lemonade are the strongest flavors, with strawberry accenting the lemonade and adding some nice sweetness to the tart lemon notes. The honeybush is sort of off in the background, adding a soft, nutty flavor but not a strong one.
Very refreshing.

Thank you to Ost for sending me a sampling of this tea!
This is a remarkable Ceylon – very rich and chocolate-y, with notes of caramel. This tastes more like a Fujian Black to me than a Ceylon! It even has that kind of ‘hefty’ quality that I would expect from an Assam or a Nilgiri or a Fujian Black … but not a Ceylon. This is a very surprising tea.

Another etsy tea shop. I really like the customer service from this shop as well. I loved the packaging! It’s a fun shop.
This blend was tasty: It’s a green Yerba Mate (unroasted) with black tea and two types of mint (Spearmint and Peppermint). The black tea is a bit difficult to discern in the early sips, but as I continued to sip, the flavor of the black tea developed. The yerba mate has a vegetal taste with notes of earth. The mint is very prominent, but even so, it’s not so minty that it tastes as though I’m drinking mouthwash.
