Received in Taiwan Sourcing intro pack

Not sure about this one. It does well when brewing in a mug, but doesn’t hold up to gong fu brewing – it’s a bit too weak. By no means a bad tea, but not the quality I expect when paying such a premium ($29 for 75g) .

This is my first time ordering a whole cake, so I’m not too great at breaking off whole chunks at a time. Best I can do right now is pick off a few leaves at a time, with the end result being a bit like maocha.

Very sweet, not very bitter/astringent. The aroma is incredible, super sweet stone fruit and honey.

Brewed 1g/15ml with boiling water

Unique and a lot of fun. The maltiness of the black with the sweetness of the white tea are balanced quite well. Reminds me a bit of Arnold Palmer but all tea?

Brewed Gongfu, but seeing in comments that I should try grandpa style as well. One of my favorite from White2tea so far.

Sweet, light, stonefruit. I usually find Taiwan Sourcing brew recommendations to be a bit on the long side, but worked out well for this one.

Was a bit confused by this one until I reread the description. Definitely on the lighter side, super approachable for a ripe.

Sweet and easy drinking, and the little cakes are a lot of fun.

Balanced astringency and light sweetness, easy drinking. Some stone fruit notes.

Semi-aged raw pu-erh. Smoky and astringent at first, which gives way to bitterness and then sweetness over a few steeps. Super complex and exemplifies the strengths of gong-fu style brewing.
