There is a major blueberry aroma coming off this both prior to infusion and while infusing. Once this gets going there is almost a medicine smell to it and not a good kind (not that there really is a good kind – but the smell reminds me of taking gross cough syrup with a water chaser). However, the taste is all blueberry with just the slight hint of rooibus. I think it would be better served iced. But I like others like to try all my teas hot first. It could probably due with a hint of sweetener too. My husband thinks it smells great (loves the smell of tea but the taste he says tastes like tea nothing special).

My son says tea is water with an aftertaste. Pooh.

Yeah I was hoping to get my husband slightly into drinking tea…guess that isn’t going to happen.

Bio

I am a tea lover, a wife, mom of one, and servant to three cats (all rescues). I love to read and write. I’m also a BIG fan of the following shows: BBC Sherlock, Doctor Who, Law and Order, Supernatural, Bones, and more – bless Netflix.

I started drinking and enjoying tea when I was 7 (sure it was bagged Lipton, but it got me started) with my grandmother. As I said it was Lipton with milk and sugar (and peanut butter and jelly on toast) and my love just grew from there. I was brought to loose leaf through a trip to Teavana. But my taste has expanded to many different types of tea since then. I review teas at the link provided, check it out!
