Pumpkin tea showdown! I drank 5 pumpkin teas side by side for comparison.

Dry, this smells like a pumpkin spice scented candle. It has that over the top richness to it that borderlines on overpowering. Had a few sprinkles that are still visible after steeping. It still smells like a candle after steeping and has the same feel in the sip. It has more base notes in the flavors and an almost hidden alkaline taste. The spices are present, but muted. The end of the sip gets a little dull.
Adding cream gives it a depth that I like. It still has that candle like blend of spices, but they are rounded out except for that alkaline thing.
Cold… ew. It tastes flat now and the alkaline taste creeps up after the start of the sip.

My name is Dustin and I like tea.

I’m an added flavor kind of tea fan, but have had a growing appreciation for plain. I want my tea to remind me of cookies and cakes with coconut and almond slices with a hint of chocolate drizzled on top. I want dancing ponies and flying monkeys shooting off fireworks! And no hibiscus. Hibiscus is the devil.
