390 Tasting Notes
Found some tea I had forgotten about, one small sampler pack of “Hawaiian Flavored” tea from Lupicia… Haha, it just makes me laugh a little, right under the name “ANUENUE” it says that. It’s an individually wrapped tea bag in a foil type packaging, so even though I’m pretty sure it’s over a year old the smell was awesomely strong. It has an intense fruity smell kind of like candy. 2 steepings, the first one was very sweet, fruity and the second one more green tea flavor came out than fruitiness. I like this one, too bad the store is a plane-ride away.
My tea with breakfast today, complete with cream and sugar. I think I’ve only got enough for one more cupful, so I’m pleased to have actually liked it enough to go through a whole bag. I have so much tea right now that I won’t be re-ordering it anytime soon but maybe later in the year. I think there was more of the peppery taste today, not sure if its because I’m at the last of the bag… But it was good.
This came in a cute London bus tin with a coin slot at the top for re-use as a money box once the tea bags are finished. I like the smell a lot, the bag is smaller than I was expecting so it’s good that I used my small cup. It tastes very good with milk and sugar.
