hmm, this one is sneaky. Initially I was put off by the citrus peel and cornflowers? in the mix and the scent was off…not the powerful bergamot oil smell I expected. I figured, at best, this would be like Twinnings’ Lady Earl Grey. Once steeped (212&6-7 minutes), allowed to cool…here comes the flavor! Earl Grey it is! Very flavorful with a long finish. I’ll put this one on my favorites list.

Didn’t care for this too much…not enough to thumbs-down, but its not a thumb’s up either. I like my tea very plain…nothing added…and this tea has a very “flowery” taste. Sort of like the sweet you get smelling a fresh bloom of honeysuckle. Not unpleasant..but distracting from the flavor of the tea.

A nice spicy Chai. I drink Chai’s straight..no milk..sometimes a touch of sugar. This Chai was inherently sweet tasting…a by-product of the solid cinnamon presence. Ginger and Clove provided that spicy, tingle-in-the-mouth kick. I could identify cardamon seeds in the mix as well. Good flavor, well balanced.

An excellent spiced tea. This is one of my fallback commercial teabags and one of the first I tried when branching out from Lipton’s plain jane standard. Used a bit of Wendy’s (see flame on it elsewhere) to sweeten it slightly and poured over ice. Refreshing.

OK, something so bad, I had to create an entry that I otherwise wouldn’t have bothered with. I had a sweet “tea” from Wendy’s yesterday. OMG! There was nothing “tea” about it…open a sugar packet and suck on it! Seriously, I couldn’t identify any tea flavor, artificial or otherwise. I ended up brewing some other tea when I got back to the office and used Wendy’s as sweenter! If I could put multiple thumbs down on this stuff, I would.

last cup…and good to the last sip. Sounds like a coffee commercial.

Next to last spoonful…sigh. Time to find something new. As the fragments get smaller, its brewing faster. Probably more tea per teaspoon that way. Did a resteep too…was just as good as the first.

Its getting HOT here and tea just doesn’t appeal when its 80 deg F in the morning. Still, this is such a good tea.
