121 Tasting Notes
Water: 8oz at 180 degrees
Leaves: very large flat leaves
Steep: 1m,2m
Aroma: light
Color: Light Green
Taste: I was interested in trying this tea because I haven’t seen anything like it before. First steep was for 1 minute, the first sip was bitter then it mellowed out to a lighter non bitter note. On the other hand the second steep was the complete opposite 2m I didn’t like it at all. This time around it was very bitter, I couldn’t finish my cup. I’m not sure if I used too many leaves or if my water was a bit hotter than expected but overall I didn’t enjoy this tea.
*Update!
I recently brewed this tea again this time following a different technique, it came out much better than the first time. Light smooth with no bitterness.
Preparation
Water: 8oz Boiled
Leaves: medium size brownish black leaves
Steep: 10s
Aroma: floral & woody

Taste: To begin with this tea I did a 5s rinse. The rinse really brought the aroma to life the steam of the leaves gave off the usual floral sent I tend to get with most oolongs but with a woody tone. I’m not the big fan of oolongs, this was okay. The second steep was 20s I found it to be a little bitter.Third was 30s and the flavor was lighter with no bitterness.

Preparation
Water: 8oz Boiling
Leaves: Various mixture of petals & fruit
Steep: 9m

Taste: This tea is good reminded me of when I had Teavivre’s blueberry tea. It’s a bit on the tart side but I didn’t want to add any sugar to it.I think I might also want to try it cold, since I normally drink my teas hot.Roselle being one of the ingredients is really good for you so that is another plus with this tea. I tried one of the dried apple pieces it had a nice sweetness to it as well.
Preparation
Water: 8oz Boiling

Taste: I decided to buy this tea after watching a YouTube video on Chinese Beauty Secrets. The video provided me information on just how healthy this tea is for you! I did my own research as well. After I went to my local Chinese Supermarket and picked up a bag for about $2.49! Even the lady at the check out lane told me how good it is for you! A day or so later I decided to give it a try it had a nice sweet berry scent.I used 5 pieces in 8oz of water. The tea has a bit of tartness with a very flavorful berry taste! You can even add a bit of honey if needed, I did it the flavor is still great!

Preparation
Water: 8oz at 175 degrees
Leaves: Tiny deep green strands
Steep: 1m & 3s,6s,9s,12s,15s,18s
Aroma: Grassy
Color: Greenish yellow changes w/more infusions
Taste: This is my first Verdant Tea I did their 5 teas for 5$ special. I tend to favor green teas more so i choose this one to start with.Right away what stood out was the aroma very nice something you wouldn’t mind smelling again.I brewed this tea using a couple of different methods both Western and Gongfu.I noticed that with the Gongfu method you get many more infusions. With both methods I noticed a hint of bitterness when drinking.

I’m sorry this tea you brewed taste was bitter. How many leaves you have used? I think it might be associated with the tea leaves and temperature.
