Maeda-en 2010 Shin-cha Giveaway!

I should win a tin because I am passionate about tea. I love green tea, especially Japanese green tea. I have recently purchased the Tokujo Shin-cha and I have received notification that it is on it’s way. I would provide reviews of both teas here as well as on the Tea Review Blog (http://www.teareviewblog.com).

I should win a tin of 2010 Shin-cha Select because I’ve been searching and searching for my favorite green tea, and this one might be it!

I would like to win a tin of 2010 Shin-cha Select because shincha is an obsession and I can never get enough! I’d love to see how this offering stacks up against the Tokujo shincha that just arrived today (yay!) and the O-cha.com shincha I ordered (Yutaka Midori and Sae Midori).

Just 3 months ago, I had never tried any Japanese green tea. After being introduced to it for the first time with a very good deal by a company who essentially gave their tea away free, all I could think was – how could I have missed this wonderful, tasty, delightful tea for so long?
Now I’m hooked, and have been regularly buying from this company. As long as Japanese green tea is easily available to me, I hope to have it in my cupboard.
So the reason I should win this tin of shincha, is because if your tea is as good as you say it is, you are going to have a repeat customer, (aka return on investment)!

I should win a tin of this tea because, I like tea and tea is good for me :)
I recently started to drink tea often as I am only 16, and this is my first contest on Steepster. Sadly, I don’t think I could win because I am not in the 48 contiguous states. I am a Canadian enthusiast.
However Shin-Cha looks pretty flavorful, and it would make for a great cup of tea.

I should win a tine\ because then I can write reviews of this tea to be posted online, plus I’ve never tried shin-cha before.

I should win because I will immediately, speedily, and accurately taste and review each tea…possibly in poetic meter, should said teas set my word muse to boogey-ing.

I should win this because I love, and am starting to get back into, Japanese green teas. Just today I ate my first tea leaves and I would love to try more kinds with leaves tender enough that you can eat them! I would be very happy to have a shin-cha as well, which I have never had and I understand is only available in small quantities outside of Japan.

I should win because I love green tea. Or, am I in love with green tea? There’s something so wonderful about the sometimes clean, sometimes creamy taste of a nice green tea. The vegetal notes, the slight astringency, the sweetness (sometimes like clover, sometimes like flowers, sometimes like chlorophyll), the savory seaweed-like flavors, the mouthfeel, the calmness of heart and clarity of mind that follows a nicely prepared cup…I love it all.
