Show us your tea-ware!
I bought a new teapot today and I realized there is no forum where we show each other what we’re drinking out of (unless you do it in a tasting note). I know a lot of you have some cool teaware so why not brag about it?
I found this one today in an antique store in Ontario. I needed a bigger pot so after sleeping on it, I shelled out the $$ for it. I don’t have any clue about its history, none was provided.

And this one was brought as a gift from India:
The second photo is nice. The first says page not found.
Just so you’ll know, it took me a while here to figure this out but we do have a teaware forum – click the discussion link at the top of the page then in the pull down menu box in the upper left select teaware. I personally always have this set to show all so I never really know where anyone has started a thread.

I really really really want these? Does anyone know where I can find these for cheaper than $20 including shipping or anyone willing to swap theirs for some tea?
I must have them!

Then there are these, but they seem pretty small and shipping is prohibitive.

At some point I’ll get my act together and post some picks of all my paraphernalia.
Here we go…
The majority of my collection:
My everyday home brewing kit (Bird Pick 10oz Dbl. wall glass infuser & Finum 5 oz. double wall glass w/ filter kit):
My on my feet, back pocket, carry around at work set up (Clear 12.8 oz Teas Etc. Dbl Wall BPA-free plastic travel mug & Stainless Steel Infuser/Thurmos):
I love your collection of tea wear . Would you tell me where did you get that gorgeous easy gaiwan cobalt blue? Also what the brand of your electric kettle?
Thanks
The blue gaiwan in the front came from Wing Hop Fung in Los Angeles’s China Town. They also use them at Bird Pick & Tea Leaf in Pasadena for sampling teas, though I’ve not seen them on sale there. I posted better pictures of it on a thread here somewhere, but can’t seem to find them. (Boo to Steepster’s search features…)
The kettle is a cheapie from Target by Aroma. I bought it on a business trip to Michigan a little over a year ago. It’s served me well, but I’ve always used bottled water, so haven’t had to deal with mineral build up.
Looking at it now, it’s not as cheap as I recall. Maybe it was on sale? I don’t remember spending more than $20 on it.

I was going to go take pictures, then I remembered I have a page on my blog for that! I totally need to go make something caffeinated, because the gears are a little slow still this morning!
