Any Good Teahouses/Shops in Atlanta?

Hello, friends! I was wondering if anybody knows of some quality shops in the Northern half of Georgia (USA). Preferably I would like to hear of shops in Atlanta, but I appreciate any recommendations from Chattanooga to just south of Atlanta.

I dono’t actually know any good tea houses in Atlanta but I know a way you might find some. Go onto the Yelp home page and do some searches. You might need to search for Tea Houses separately from Tea Shops. Many local tea places in my area have Yelp pages.

I know of one named ZenTea Tea Bar and Meditation Room. Unfortunately, it is in Chamblee, very near to Buford Highway, so it is a bit of a drive, but it is worth the trip. I have only gone once, but I will definitely go again! They a great variety of teas, and they allow you to smelling before drinking it. They have a special called “flight of tea” which three or more 9 oz cast iron pots, $4 each, your choice of any tea. Their prices are very formidable. In addition, the owner tends to work there regularly, so you can have great discussions with her, about the tea and her experience. I am sure you would have a great time~!! They have their own website, so I recommend you check it out~.

There used to be a couple but it seems like there’s a downturn in the tea rooms in Georgia. There was one in Roswell once upon a time, there is still one in Woodstock, there’s Tipple and Rose Tea Parlor in Atlanta, and several Asian-run run tea houses across the perimeter.
