Afternoon Tea on the West Coast, USA

Hi all,

I’ll be taking a three week road trip along the West Coast, going down through Death Valley and Las Vegas, and up through California (LA, SF) and Oregon. Can anyone recommend any good afternoon tea rooms along my route?

You should check out Madame Zuzu’s in Highland Park, IL (Just outside of Chicago) It is owned by Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins.

Edit: I just saw you’re going to the west coast :P Anyways, if you ever find yourself in the Midwest check out Zuzus :)

Las Vegas – Mandarin Oriental for sure.
Portland – Smith Teamaker is not to be missed.

Another vote for Mandarin Oriental. Great view of Vegas. I’d recommend making reservations since it is small.
