This tea is so comforting for me. It reminds me of all the times that I’ve spent with my friends hanging out at Tim Hortons. I always order it steeped with cream and sugar (my local Tim’s never has Almond Milk in stock.) It’s so delicious, sweet and creamy, just how I like it.
I buy the K-Cups at the grocery store and pour the loose tea into a coffee filter for my one cup Melita and steep it at home where I can add my Silk Almond Vanilla Coffee Creamer. Tastes like home! There is just something so familiar, nostalgic and sentimental about this tea. I will always order it and I will always love it!
This tea is comforting, pleasant, and an overall safe flavor profile. I tend to enjoy it at night with a book, when I am feeling sick, or as an after-dinner treat to fight off the sweet tooth.
It tastes exactly as you would imagine–slightly tart, slightly sweet, light, and fruity. It is very smooth. In my personal opinion, this tea is best taken with a spoonful of honey and made into a big mug. I only have one box and it came to me from my mother. I was meant to take it last Christmas break and forgot it by mistake, only to receive it when I visited my mother a few months later. So glad it finally made it’s way into my collection!

I believe this tea is best taken with a generous spoonful of honey and made into a big mug.

Tried this for the first time, was prepared by the Tim Horton employees. Someone needs to tell them not to use boiling water on green tea. Seriously. The water was extremely hot.
I was surprised how floral this tea smelled. That’s about the only compliment I can pay it. Overall it was musky and bitter, but it probably would have come out better if I had steeped it at home.

I ADORE this tea. Whenever I am feeling low I go to Tim Horton’s and get an extra large one. It is soothing and sweet enough. I am not a fan of apples but this is such a nice tea I look at it as a treat sometimes! Perfect to sit down with and read a book.
This particular blend of English breakfast is really good although I highly doubt it’s genuinely English breakfast as all the ingredient list States is that it contains “black tea” lol. It’s quite sweet and comforting! I just don’t leave the bag in for very long as if it’s in for too long the tea ceases to have any flavour and just tastes burnt lol.
Oh my god, don’t even get me started on this tea. I tried it when I worked at Tim’s and it literally tastes like vomit! I felt sick throughout my shift after drinking this. It completely threw me off apples and cinnamon in tea, which I later discovered can taste good when blended and prepared properly. This tea is not a good blend at all, and timmies has some good tea compared to their coffee! Lol
its like they used 2 bags for this tea. xl, 2 sugars. ill probably try the peppermint next time. ill drink the rest of this, but wont get it again.
edit: by the time i finished this i had bumped my rating down further, but based on other notes i might try this again with milk or ceam.
4/29/17 got this double double, and its way better though getting it with cream is a bit much for me, going to try 2 milk, 2 sugars next time, and i think ill like it better still. this is something i could drink once in a while on the fly. bumped my rating up a little.
That’s actually what they do (2 bags per pot). Timmies also “steeps” their Steeped Tea like coffee with a drip, resulting in a particularly bitter and concentrated brew. I need milk or cream to drink it too.
I have a soft spot for this tea. My Grandmother used to take me to Tim Horton’s and always asked me if I wanted a Honey Lemon Tea or a French Vanilla Cappuccino and a doughnut. So every time I drink this tea, I think about her and our trips to Tim Horton’s. Just for that reason alone, this tea is comforting for me. Even just the thought of it is comforting. It’s all about the memories but I do genuinely like this tea, even if there were no other attachments to it. Lemony, sweet and soothing. A nice herbal option for the evenings when I don’t want to overload on caffeine. My Grandmother passed away in 2011 but I still can’t drink this tea without thinking of her and the times we spent at Tim Horton’s together. I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything.

Thank-you Maddy. She was a wonderful person. I miss her very much but am grateful I got to have her for as long as I did.
What a lovely story!! I miss Timmies ( now living in the States) and have so many good Family memories there too. I don’t think I’ve ever tried their teas though. I’m pretty basic – a double double and a maple cream donut :) Been back for a visit since the the takeover/ changeover and it’s not the same sadly. Your grandmother sounds wonderful.
Amie, she was a beautiful person and she loved her family fiercely. Her children and grand children were everything to her. She died of lung/bone cancer and it was extremely difficult to lose her at only 73. I miss her terribly and think of her all the time. I hold my memories of her close to my heart.
I’ve never really been a fan of Tim Hortons’ teas or Earl Greys so my hopes weren’t high for this one. Overall though this is one of the best teas I’ve had from Timmies (which isn’t saying much), probably because it tastes nothing like Earl Grey. Actually the only really distinct note I got was a hint of anise, which was rather unexpected. However, since the all around flavour was pretty mild this wasn’t so bad. If I had to get something at Tim’s this is a pretty safe bet.
My absolute first choice tea when I get sick. It’s sweet and soothing, and it doesn’t matter how long you leave that bag in for, it’s good. Trust me, your throat will thank-you for it. Also you can buy a box for about 4 bucks if you don’t want to keep running out to get it.
Preparation
This is my favourite ‘fast food’ tea. It doesn’t contain any caffeine as it is a herbal tea but somehow this tea is always the best pick-me-up (I don’t drink coffee, so this is always what I get at work when I’m feeling that mid-day slump).
The peppermint flavor is sweet tasting, with a slight hint of creamy vanilla. It is very refreshing and surprisingly delicious for a take-out tea. I personally like to order it with 1 milk and 1 sugar, but it’s perfectly fine by itself as well.
Flavors: Cream, Mint, Peppermint, Vanilla
