The Republic of Tea (Imperial Repbulic)

I had a cup of this while out shopping for my wife’s birthday. I had access to some bags of this at work (sometimes folks will leave tea for the general break room population). I made a cup before heading out for the day. It wasn’t anything special. I guess there was a peachy note throughout, but I didn’t taste any ginger whatsoever. It was a good cup for a cold, rainy day, but I’d not go out of my way in getting any for my inventory/desk.

All I can taste is the peach, pleasant taste, but just peach.

Opening the canister, there’s a strong, sweet smell of caramel and vanilla. Caramel is definitely the primary taste of this tea. Cardamom is the last ingredient listed, and that is reflected in the taste – just a small smidgeon of cardamom taste is present, but barely. I bought this tea in November, 2015 and haven’t seen it since. It’s tasty and pleasant but it’s not terribly special.
