mmmm…pumpkin cider. I have never had pumpkin cider but imagine this is what that would taste like. Of course now I shall have to try actual pumpkin cider… if I can ever find any around here. I hope my relief isn’t sick this morning as well. I was tripping over my feet on the walk to the bus stop yesterday morning. Otherwise I would have walked the whole way home. I felt so lazy for taking the bus when home is like 6km away. However I was just that bone tired.
Flavors: Pumpkin, Spices

Maple pumpkin? Yeah that’s definitely what I’m feeling from this tea right now. It makes me think of bobbing for apples actually… I’m not sure why but that’s the memory that pops up when drinking this right now… Halloween can’t come soon enough apparently.
Flavors: Maple, Pumpkin

Having this wonderful cider like tea because it’s 38C (100F) outside right now. I’m at work and there is no fan and only a trickle of AC coming out of the vent. A guy said he would try to find me a fan. Dying of heat but at least I have some yummy tea!

Well this was very yummy! I steeped if for 5min at 205F and it was great! Reminded me of a mulled apple cider actually.

Another one of my favourite teas to sip in the cold months of fall and winter. I usually like to drink it in the morning, as it gives me a bit of a pick me up and wakes me up with the chili chai flavouring.
Flavors: Cloves, Dark Chocolate, Peppercorn
Preparation
One of my favourite things about the fall and winter season is none other than chai! I was super excited when the fall teas came out and had to go and buy all of them. This one is one of my top 3. You can taste the chainess goodness in every sip!
Flavors: Caramel, Cloves, Pumpkin
Preparation
So I know I’ve had this tea before, but it doesn’t have any notes saved for me? Hmm, maybe I got the wrong listing?
In any case, hello again Pumpkin Chai.
Its my mothers birthday today, so I must have a pumpkin tea, as its her favorite flavor.
Its also my next interview for the job I’ve been applying for- interview 3. I’m nervous, but its going to be ok! Alright, tea, lets do this.
[not sure if this is catalogued correctly… maybe someone from the DAVIDsTEA account can update it]
This is a cute blend, with little pumpkin candies in the dry leaf, a sweet novelty for someone who is a Halloween fan. I brewed this hot and steeped it for a long while, luckily I like my teas strong. This tea is pre-sweetened, between the pumpkin candies and the caramel, so it is definitely for dessert. Cinnamon and caramel are the strongest flavors, equal parts sweet and spicy. While carrot is listed as an ingredient and I think I see some carrot in the leaf, I really don’t get any of the squash or carrot flavor. Likewise the cloves and lemon peel and very subtle.
I would sum up this blend as “caramel chai,” and the black tea base is amazingly smooth, especially for my oversteeping. I wouldn’t mind a blend in the future with a little more body or flavor variety, maybe some earthiness… maybe David’s would make a pumpkin pu erh? Anyway, this tea was a delicious sweet fall treat, no tricks here!Flavors: Brown Sugar, Candy, Caramel, Cinnamon, Spices
It’s September and Pumpkin everything is upon us. Seeing as how I don’t drink coffee I figured I would have to try a pumpkin tea something or another. I prefer my chai to be spicy. A bit of zip. This has chai flavor but for me it’s too sweet. Good base. Although I can barely taste it. Add a bit more zip and I think this would be a hit. Uh… you know… I’m not really sensing much pumpkin either… Or was the pumpkin just those candy pieces?

I had some this morning before going to work. My enthusiasm for this tea has faded a bit, as along with the pumpkin and spices I’m beginning to detect a harsh smell in the background. Can’t quite put my finger on it. Something metallic?
Anyways, I had some with agave nectar and it was a good mix. I’ve probably got another 50 or so grams to finish off.
I got a cup of this with some agave nectar added to go this evening. The flavour was milder than I expected. I tasted mostly nutmeg and cream, with a hint of cinnamon as I progressed through the cup. It was nice, but I know that when I buy teas from David’s Tea that I can never make them taste as good at home as they do in the store.
This was a tad too fruity for me, even though I like my blacks fruity. How’s that possible? It was too tart/bitter not to add sweetener, but then when I did, it’s like sweetener “didn’t go” with it. Made it taste funny. I will try this again but perhaps steep it less and maybe try agave with it instead of sugar or honey.
I love my peach flavors in tea, but alone I think it’s just a ‘like’. This is a very tasty fruit tea, but I think I’d go for the Mango Fruit Punch if I really wanted a similar tasting tea, but with much more flavor. Either way, this is still really good tea. I bought a bunch 40% off.
God I love how it smells!! Just like cherry candies. It doesn’t quite taste the same as it smells, I can distinguish coconut and the white tea base. It is a soothing tea and I loved drinking it in winter, it made me smile despite the harsh weather. Iced, however, I did not like it as much, the cherry flavour became too artificial. The rose buds in the blend are really pretty and since it came out in february, I think of it as a romantic tea.
Flavors: Cherry, Cherry Blossom, Coconut
