Adagio Custom Blends, Victoria Williams

I tried this after it was recommended to me… but all I taste is black tea, with a bitter aftertaste. Maybe I’m not doing something right.

Simple, sweet, uncomplicated and straightforward. Good caramel flavor, a bit maple-syrupy and biscuity. No astringency.

Kind of stale, though. Other than that, it’s still pretty good for being over a year old and stored in a ziploc baggie. Poor mistored tea!

For the first time in a long time, had a chance to make tea before work. Wanted something sweet. Yum.

I was worried about blending these two, not because they don’t make sense together, but they both have that yucky Adagio black tea base. Luckily the sweetness they both bring covers it up a bit. The caramel stands out more, but the cream kicks in for a smooth and sweet finish. Will blend these again. Exactly what I was in the mood for.
