I am not sure what wedding cake in the US tastes like. My Mom tried to explain it to me, but I honestly didn’t quite get it. Either way, I really enjoyed this tea! I have had a few cups so far (Auggy was really generous with her samples!) and every single cup was delightful.

The dry leaves smelled sweet with hints of strawberry and something nutty, which I am guessing must have been the almond peaking through. I also got the strong scent of the black tea base. All in all it smelled tasty!

I brewed two heaping teaspoons and got dark burgundy brew that smelled sweet and inviting. It was both strong and relaxing. I got mostly black tea with a sweet flavor followed by strawberry and almond. It is a sweet and relaxing combination of flavors! I would love to have my wedding cake taste like this! It is good not sweetened and unsweetened. As with most flavored teas, the sweetness really makes the flavors stand out. So, in conclusion, best enjoyed sweetened.

Yum… I am going to miss this once my sample is out! I may have to buy some at some point!

Ok, first of all, I am not much of a TA fan, so no connection there, but the flavors in this blend are all the things I enjoy, gunpowder green, orange, a hint of spice. This day has been ramping upward since it started, feeling like a scene from Inception with the rioters getting closer and closer…so, by building a wall of green, a covering of gunpowder and the clear-eyed focus of orange, this tea is providing the protection I need.

Thanks KeenTeaThyme for some of this yummy blend! Very Good. Unique flavors in it, every sip you get a different taste. Sometimes smoky, sometimes spicy, sometimes orange-y. . . But all good!!

Thanks to the lovely Meghann M, my SweeTEA, for this Adagio creation by Tanya Laird. I am a nut for anything gunpowder, so naturally this blend of gunpowder, decaf spiced green and blood orange would appeal to me.
This is a fun, unique blend I plan on purchasing for myself when I run out.
The first sip is bold, orange-y and spicy, deliciously smooth. The aftertaste is a little bit smoky (thanks to the gunpowder), and still orange&spice.
I enjoy this at work in the afternoons. It’s calming and soothing, but not sleep-inducing!

Finishing up the last bit of this from Rachel. Have lowered the steeping temperature to hopefully improve this blend.

It did improve. The bitter citrus pith taste is nearly gone. But there’s no pomegranate and no tangerine flavor, either. Just a breakfast tea taste. I’ll be able to finish this pot, but won’t be visiting this one again.

Actually, I imagine this is what the “tea” from the beverage machine in Hitchhiker’s Guide tastes like. It’s more tea-like than actual tea.

I love Dr. Who, and was so excited to try this tea. Rachel sent me some! Thank you so much!

I can’t help but think our favorite Time Lord would not approve. I taste no pomegranate, nor tangerine. I taste tea and bitter citrus pith.

I can’t help but think that the Daleks would have only one word to say to this tea: Exterminate!!

I tasted the pomegranate and it was tart and fruity. The tangerine made it even more tart. It is rather fruity for me and truly I don’t like teas that are overly fruity so it may be a tea someone else would enjoy more.

I have never tried pomegranate, so I can’t say for sure if I’ve tasted it in this tea. This tea is good nonetheless. Very slightly and mildly fruity. It tasted more like a basic black tea. I added milk and sugar. An alright blend.

This is a nice morning or afternoon tea. It was mostly black tea with a hint of citrus. The caramel scent stood out and the flavor gave the tea a very slight sweetness. A nice blend, and no one flavor overpowered the other.

Dry: Faint fruity scent. Soft, ‘fuzzy’ long green-white leaves mixed with fruits and berries.

The making: used about 1.5 teaspoons. Used my large bodum glass teapot (it was my first teapot). I haven’t used most of my teaware so I’ve decided to start using them again!! Makes me so happy inside. I also love sharing my love for tea with my boyfriend! He is starting to get hooked on different teas instead of the usual Assam with milk and sugar. (but I digress!)

Steeped: The color is a light yellow-caramel. The scent is faint fruity and floral. The taste is almost indescribable in a good way. It it so delicate and naturally sweet. This was blended very well. The white monkey was not overpowered by the fruit IMO, but they all worked in harmony. I imagine this would taste delightful cold brewed!

Overall: Great signature blend! I love it! I would love to try this cold. Delicate.

Pomegranate. If that’s not enough…it’s just fruity enough without being too sweet. And it’s great hot or iced!

Not overwhelmingly fruity. The flavors blend well and seem to accentuate the Ceylon base of the two teas. Enjoyable.

I so enjoy this tea… creamy and sweet with the strawberry adding just a touch of fruit… so yummy.
