Made the last perfect spoon into a latte, but I think it needed a bit more tea. However, now that it has cooled a touch, it’s so good! I love this tea. It’s chocolate and coconut and a bit of a nuttiness to it. This will have to come back into my cupboard soon. But until then, goodbye friend and I’ll enjoy you again soon.
I miss Teaopia so much. I didn’t appreciate them as much as I should have when they were still around…
Anyways, my mom-in-law gave me what she had left of this one, but I feel it’s definitely past its prime. Sometimes you can have a tea for a while and it still works, but this one isn’t like it could. It has the apple flavour still to it and it’s got a bit of cinnamon, but that’s about all I’m really noticing at the moment. It’s definitely a sweet tea from what I’m picking up. I feel like there is something else I’m picking up, but I’m not sure what it is… nutmeg? Yeah I dunno.
Anyways, I don’t taste the base at all with it, which is good and bad. I’m not one for oolongs, so it’s nice I can’t notice it, but at the same time, I’m starting to like them a bit so it would have been nice to get a bit of the flavour.
Well, like I said, this tea is past it’s prime so I shall let the rest of it go.
Teaopia, come back!!
Happy 400th tasting note to me!
I got a small Davidstea order in the mail today. Only three teas, ones on the wishlist. I decided this would be the one to jump into as it smelt curiously like Coco Lemon Thai.
I really love this one. I love the lemon and coconut and how it’s working together. There is definitely a lovely fruitiness to it also. I am quite happy with it. I will definitely enjoy this one. And I’ll drink it up fast hopefully. Unlike the Coco Lemon Thai that my dad bought me. I loved it, but then forgot about it… and I think it’s gone punky… so sad… I’ll try it again before I chuck it… but so sad…
Anyways, this one won’t have that happen. I’ll be drinking this one fast :)
I had this one last week with my mom and totally didn’t think to log it.
I was… disappointed with this one. I found it to be so lightly flavoured that it felt like I was just drinking water. I couldn’t get much of any flavour to it… I will be trying it again before I give up on it, but even my mom agreed. I guess we’ll see. I’m going to add more leaves and see what happens.
I can’t believe I still have this one. So I made it into a latte. haha Still on my latte kick. I think this will be one of many today.
Anyways, This tea still tastes so good. I’m surprised it still have good flavour as it’s not the newest tea ever… But either way, I’m enjoying this one as a latte. It’s a little strange having a white tea as a latte, but it works. Maybe it’s ‘cause I make them nice and strong that it works, but either way, I’m glad it does.
I need to finish this one. It’s time to say goodbye.
Yeah I’m really surprised it hasn’t. I thought the walnuts would have been so off so I wasn’t expecting much at first. I’m glad it turned out alright.
I got more of this one before my collection dwindled like I thought I was going to. I got a fresh small bag of it… was it this year or last year? I don’t remember. Doesn’t matter.
Today I made it into a latte. Absolutely amazing. I seriously inhaled it. I was very impressed. I love making lattes at home. I have so much more variety than shops do and it’s SO much cheaper!
Made this into a latte today. I probably made it stronger than needed, but I love strong flavoured lattes. This one was so great. It had the great cookie taste I mentioned in the last tasting note, and it’s got the creaminess of the cream.
This tea is such a surprise. I love it. Now that I’m making lattes at home, I don’t think this one will last long. haha Delish!
Bought this on a whim last week.
I wasn’t even sure about the smell honestly, but how could I pass up a tea called Cookies and Cream?!
I added some milk and sugar (not much), and it made this tea such a great sweet dessert tea. I definitely got the sweetness and chocolately taste from it. But there was also a creaminess to it. I was impressed by the combo and how well the two worked together and the fact that you get both the cookie taste and the cream. Usually you don’t get both when a company says you should, but this time you definitely can. Seriously surprised and impressed.
I’m going to enjoy this one.
As a side note, I’m like dying to buy more tea, which technically I have in the last week, but I want to buy more and I’m trying with everything in me to not. I have a Steeped Tea party tonight so we’ll see how well that lasts… I HAVE to drink down some of my collection!
I have decided that I dislike this tea. Not because of anything to do with the tea itself, but I realize that I don’t like apple teas that have a black base. They are okay, but I definitely prefer when they have a different base to them. Not sure if I’m going to finish this one or just toss what’s left… maybe I"ll try mixing it with something instead.

Mmm, I’ve ripped through like 75g of this and will definitely be coming back for more too.
I totally caved and got more today. I ordered online ‘cause a tea for one (the one that’s the teapot on top and the cup fits underneath it) was on sale in the web special section and I was watching for it to come back on sale. I didn’t want to pay for shipping for just that, so I got the tea too… hahaha
Good job! I’ve been tempted to get Salted Caramel bars online since I can’t find them in store, but similar problem, don’t want to have to pay for shipping.
